— Chaos
NATALIA HELD THE envelope in her hands. It was heavy with importance. Her school of choice either wanted her, or didn't. Ah, Harvard. She couldn't wait. Just kidding, she applied to Amherst University and that was her ultimate. Natalia never had a dream school in mind, she only knew she wanted to be on the East Coast. Her father came down the front steps, two coffee in his hands. He sat beside his daughter and handed her the other cup. He peered over to her hands that trembled slightly.
"Your future awaits," He said quietly into the fresh morning breeze. Natalia let out a small sigh and ripped it open. She opened the letter and looked up to the sky.
"I can't look," Natalia whined, looking up at the puffy white clouds above her. "What if I don't get in?"
"Then we try again elsewhere," Her father, Cam, said calmly despite the contrast of his daughter's panic. He peaked over her shoulder secretly and chuckled. She held the paper away. "Want me to look?"
"You just did!" She complained, folding it in half.
She took a sip of the bitter coffee she had sat down and cringed. It wasn't her vanilla latte.
"Did I get in?" She asked, her face scrunched up.
Her father sighed and took the paper from his daughter.
"Dear Natalia, congratulations and welcome to the..." He began only for Natalia to screech. "Oh, jeez!"
Natalia hugged her father and kissed him on the cheek. She hopped off of the step and darted inside.
"Mom, I got in!" Natalia cheered causing her mother to jump as she waited for the toast to pop out of the toaster. Her mother smiled at her.
"That's great, Natalia," Her mother said coldly.
Her father came in behind her.
"Are you gonna see that Gordon Lightfoot to celebrate?" He then asked. Natalia furrowed her eyebrows
"Uh, no," Natalia chuckled nervously. How did they...
"Oh, God. I love his music," Her mother gushed.
"That's really nice guys. Maybe you guys should go. I have to meet up with Jessica, lots of catching up to do. I have to see if she got in to Colombia," Natalia lied. It didn't take much for her to get out the door.
However, how'd they know about Gordon Lightfoot?

NATALIA WALKED INTO the Jensen's house as loudly as she normally would. She just saw Lainie and Matt pull out, so she knew Clay would be there too. However, she only saw Justin pocketing money from off of the table. He seen her immediately and moved his eyes to the floor.
