IT HAD BEEN a long two weeks for Natalia

IT HAD BEEN a long two weeks for Natalia. Clay had been normal, for the most part. He infiltrated her daily routine again. He ended up in her bed most nights. Things have been good. They were getting close again and all felt right. It had been a lot for him. She could tell. She tried to be there for him when he woke up in distress.

He rounded the corner, catching Natalia's eyes. He seemed to find her easily, now walking beside her.

"Is everything okay?" Natalia asked, sensing the panic coming off of him. He looked around, like he didn't hear her. "Clay?"

"What? Yeah. I just... I feel like everyone's watching me. Do they all think I'm crazy?" Clay asked causing Natalia to lace her fingers with his.

"No, Clay. Nobody thinks you're crazy, okay? Are you feeling at least any better, or has it gotten worse here?" Natalia questioned which only resulted in a mere shrug from Clay. "Just go to your classes. This year is so close to being over. All we need to do is graduate, okay?"

"Yeah. You're right," Clay replied, but he felt thousands of miles away as he spoke.

A PING FROM Natalia's phone caught her attention. It had been one of those nights that Clay hadn't been there. An email that seemed to be from Clay's account made her scrunch up her face. It said he was going to announce all of the things they'd did wrong.

She didn't know what to do, why would he send this out? Until another email went through saying that it wasn't him and saying that it was hacked.

Natalia didn't understand. Did he really get hacked or was this just an excuse for something he did?

NATALIA HELPED PITCH her tent with Jessica. It took them a little bit, but with Jessica's motivational speaking and encouragement, they got it done quickly. After helping her set up, Diego was able to distract her.

"Oh! Natalia, hi!" Mrs Jensen greeted, she'd been all dressed up in camping gear. "You look as lovely as always. I haven't seen much of you recently. Have you been busy?"

"Very busy. You know, with school and stuff with Jess," Natalia lied because if she were being honest, she'd been busy with Clay.

"I can always tell what days you've seen him and days you haven't," Mrs Jensen admitted, folding her arms with a small smile on her face. "He's always in a better mood when it's been a day he's seen you."

"Oh, really?" Natalia asked, honestly, she was a little flattered.

"I think he really likes you, sweetheart. You're the only person he's ever really talked up," Mrs Jensen continued, the small smile never leaving her face.
