I sat perched in the tree looking around. The sun was gonna be up soon. I can smell blood. I jumped down and landed in the grass. I took of towards the east. The closer I got, the more I could smell Jazz's sent. I knew it wasn't gonna be long before my mom caugh up. My dad was somewhere, but I couldn't tell where. Because of the amount of danger, and risk. He had to mask his scent.

"Riley stay back!!" I heard Jazz yelled at me. It was too late. My body was thrown to the left. When I hit the ground I skidded to a stop. I left my head but I was kicked in the ribs over and over again. When I did get a good look at who it was, Jazz's appeared. Blood in her chocolate brown fur. Jazz let out loud growl before advancing forward. I got to my feet and moved. The guy green hoodie wrapped his arms around Jazz. If he squeezed her ribs, she was down for. I pushed myself forward bringing my arms. I got my arms. I could see Thomas and a few other wolves hidden. I grabbed him by his neck choking him. He got his legs up under me kicked me off him. I went flying backwards into Jazz. He stood up looking at me.

"How the hell do you expect to fight me, and you won't fight in your true form." He started laughing.

"Because I don't want to fight. Stand down now." I could feel my mother right behind me.,

"Riley stand down." My mother said pointing her gun on the strange guy.

"I'm not giving up till this guy tells me where Ben is. I want answer." I told her. The guy took off in the trees. If he went too far we were gonna losing him to sea. The beach wasn't too far.

"I'm fucking sick of this asshole." Jazz said. I looked at her, standing there naked. She never really seemed to care.

"You can't fight in your human form." She shrugged at me.

"Being that size slows me down." I looked cut on her shoulder, bleeding. It looked like it was trying to close up. "I'll be okay, I can't heal as fast as you. But right now we need to get this guy."

"You two will not go after him." My father's voice said from the trees. "We will handle this."

"No, I will." I took off into the direction he went in. Jazz was almost beside me along with my mom and the wolves.

"Fall back now!" Jazz told the wolves. They still stayed on her tail. "That's a fucking order, do not fight this guy." The wolves then proceed to fall back.

"I got an idea." I told her. "You go left and I go right, box him in before he gets to the ocean. Once we box him. Then we take him on together."

"Riley, I could end up hurting you. When wolves fight we literally revert to our primal nature. You are our natural enemy." She was right. We didn't need kill him, just take him down.

"Jazz, I trust you. We can't kill him we still have to question where Jazz is. What happened to him anyway after the dance?" She was following him. She never came back.

"I'll explain later. I can smell salt water up ahead. We need to break now." I nodded my head. "Riley?" I looked at her. "He's right, you can't fight holding back in your human form." Jazz turned off to the left. I turned to right. My mom was still on me. Her thoughts were so loud and angry. I made a turn in the trees. My. Fangs came sliding out. My nails got longer. I jumped into the air and slashed him across the back. He managed to move out the way before Jazz dig her claws into him. He was still fast even though he was hurt. Jazz took a wide swing and punch him in the face. He got back from her, bleeding. Gun shots were fired. Mom stood point her gun. The gun turned to run.

"Jazz!" I ran to her. "Throw me." Without even asking, Jazz took me by back my jacket and my pants leg. she turned in circle and with all her strength throw me into his direction. I landed on top of him. This time I grabbed his right foot as hard as I could. Pulling and twisting in a fast motion, the bones in his ankle snapped. It made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I wanted to do it again. I ignored the urge to do so. My came closer pointing her gun at him.

"I told to let me handle this." She said as her eyes glowed bright. She was pretty pissed. Mom pressed the red button on her walkie talkie. "Suspect has been subdued. Bring the transport van to my location." Mom let go of the button. I took my foot and kicked him leg. At this point I was really annoyed and hungry. I couldn't hunt now because all noises scared the animals off in the area.

"Who the hell are you?" Jazz asked. He lifted his head and looked at her. He winked at her.

"Sweet heart, if you weren't standing in front of me naked. I could remember my name. Your pretty hot for a wolf check."Jazz picked up her foot crushed his arm. I pulled her by her arm.

"You two get home now. I got it from here. You two need to eat. And find Ben." I turned to see my dad standing in his younger form. Jazz shifted into her wolf form and followed me. Dad grabbed me by my arm.

"I have no idea what the hell you were thinking." Dad was pissed too. "Your reckless like your mother. You don't think. I almost went after you and exposed myself."

"Dad I took care of it just fine." Dad looked at me.

"This time. Next time you might not be so lucky." Dad Chewed my ear off the whole way home. Jazz got it even worse when aunt Jamie met up with us. Jazz told me that she had been following Ben, that's when she crossed with the vampire guy. Her wolf instincts kicked in she went after him.

"Darren!" I looked over the sofa to see Ava walking in house. Uncle Kevin had someone over his shoulders. Dad looked at them.

"I know you're my teacher, but can you please put me down."

"Ben?" I got up from sofa and came around my Uncle. Ben looked like a ghost.

"Dude tell your Uncle to put me down." It was him. It was actually him. "I tell everything I know, if you put me down. My blood is rushing to my head."

"I'll put you down. But if I even think whatever is in you has taken over and you run. I will break your leg kid."

"How we know she hasn't dropped the control on you. Long enough to get information on what we know." Ava said. Ben let out a loud laugh. His head turned sideways at me.

"I didn't know teenagers were so damn smart." Like that he was gone.

"Take him to basement and chain him down." My dad ordered. "Don't let him out till we know how to deal with this." Ben kept laughing and laughing all the way to basement.

"His folks are in town. They are gonna wonder where he is." I told him. Dad nodded to Ava.

"I'm already on it." Ava went back out the door. I looked at dad.

"What's going on with him." Dad looked at me brushing his hair from his face. I wonder if he was ever gonna tell me how he control what age he looks. I heard movement coming from the basement. I followed dad to the kitchen. My eyes was starting to bug me. I saw blood in the fridge.

"I'll show you, soon as Jasper gets here." I sat at the table my Uncle Jasper showed up. When he did we went to the basement.
