Dear Readers,

Guys I'm sorry I didn't update this chapter sooner. I went and deleted old stories I am working on on the the side. In the process. I accidentally deleted it process of deleting and renaming files. I can't remember much of how it went but I will do my best right now to retype it.
Also updating has been slow for two reasons. I like to take my time and do my stories right. While working on "A Vampire's Kiss" (the original series). I became burned out and tired of writing when I got to "A Vampire's Life" so in the middle of the book. I took a 2 year break. I had came back to the series because so many people wanted me to finish it. "Forever Immortal" is the spin off series of "A Vampire's Kiss" (book 1) "A Vampire's Pain" (Book 2) and "A Vampire's Life" (Book 3) This would count as book 4 I guess. Maybe I will go back and do some changes so readers will know that. But that's why I update slow...well reason 1
Reason 2 is because no one really votes or comments. How am I supposed to know if you guys want more updates if no one comments or votes. As a writer feedback is important. To know what my readers think and want. Just don't leave comments about my spelling and grammar. Unless you have the time to edit for me, and I think I can trust you not to steal my work then you do it. I get it my spelling and grammar sucks. Well guess what I DON'T CARE. Its my story and I do things my way.
Reason 3 is because I don't always have my laptop. So I use my tablet. Its about the size of a smart mpphone maybe a little bigger. But it's murder on the thumbs. Just typing this makes my thumbs hurt.

I wiggled my nose a little and rolled over on my back. I opened my eyes. I looked around and noticed Ben sitting at my desk. I thought I was dreaming when I saw him come in. I sat up in my bed. Ben looked at me. He was thinking about running away. He thought he was going crazy.

"Ben it...

"Boys down stairs now." I heard my mother called. When I got up I grabbed a shirt and looked at my watch. It was four in the morning. When I came down stairs everyone was in the living room. "We need to talk to both of you." She said. I honestly wanted to go back to bed.

"We found Ben not too far from him. The only reason we let him into the house and not chain him in the basement is because he said you could tell if it's safe." I looked at Ben.

"He's safe. When he is being controlled I can't hear what he is thinking. I can't reach his mind. I can hear everything now." I walked to kitchen and got a bag of blood.

"How is that possible?" Ben asked. From his voice he sounds scared to ask.

"Riley I never did ask your question about drudges." I couldn't tell if he was asking this as a question or stating it. My father's eyes darted to my mom.

"Jasper." My mother said to my Uncle. His head lifted robotic like. Uncle Jasper got up and walked to the back door. Mom motioned for us to come with her. I followed her. When we got outside, Uncle Jasper stood there with dead look in his eyes. I noticed Ava sitting the roof. Jasper's attention turned to me. He sprinted forward towards. I ran to my left but he stayed on me. My claws came up and climb up the tree. My body was suddenly flung in the air. The tree I was in went crashing down. I landed on ground. Uncle Jasper grabbed me and I couldn't break free. His grip was so tight. I closed my eyes and relaxed. I listened to the night around me. I could feel the darkness around me. I felt myself began to fade away. I became part of the darkness. I moved throw the shadows no longer with a physical body. I couldn't stay that way for long when my body came back.

"Holy shit." My dad said out loud. "I thought only your mom could do that." I looked at mom.

"He must have inherited it from me." Ben grinned. He thought it was cool.
