Chapter Thirteen

A/N: So obviously I changed the story line of when Tyler got home for story progression. Just thought you should know.. Also I know this chapter is short compared to the others. But I will be posting a lot of chapters today 6/28

Gemma woke up the next morning to find Stefan watching television and sitting at her vanity with a blood bag to his lips. He looked over at Gemma and smiled.

"Elena called, there's a party tonight. Wanna go with me?" Gemma smiled.

"Yes, New Orleans has nothing on how we do it in Mystic Falls." Stefan let out a small laugh. 

"I'm gonna go check up on Damon, I will see you later?"

"Of course." he kissed her lips lightly and left. She got up out of bed and went into her bathroom, she turned on the water and waited for it to heat up. Once she was finished, she brushed her teeth. She decided to let her hair dry naturally and got dressed. 

Gemma sat on her bed and was scrolling through Instagram when she was interrupted by Stefan calling her.

"Hey."

"Hey. Wanna help me get Elena and Damon back together?"

"Sure. Only if you promise me a dance tonight.."

"If I must."

"So Damon and Elena?"

"Listen. I actually think that Elena is good for Damon. She makes him happy and we all know that when Damon is happy..."

"He's not going on some killing spree.."

"Exactly. But Elena lied to us. She told me that she was at Whitmore, told Caroline she was with us.."

"Then where the hell is she?"

"No idea. Meet Damon and I at the Grill?"

"Give me a few to finished getting ready?"

"Of course. See you soon.." they hung up and Gemma quickly put her into a fishtail braid and draped it over her shoulder. She left her house and drove in the direction of the Grill. She called Bonnie to check if Elena was possibly with her and she wasn't which confused Gemma even more. She went inside the grill and saw Stefan and Damon having a drink and talking, she soon joined them and took a seat.

"So I called Bonnie, she and Jeremy went to go see her mom and neither of them have talked to Elena."

"Who invited you? Scram."

"I invited her. Gemma agreed to help you get Elena back."

"You? You hate me! You once told me that calling me Satan was an insult to Satan."

"Well nobody is perfect."

"Mmhmm. So this is what it's come to? You bring me love advice from Ms. One Night Stand?"

"Hey, you once enjoyed a one night with me." Gemma teased.

"What's going on here? Are you guys babysitting me?"

"We're just hanging out... chatting."

"I don't need this. And I don't need your help." Damon left the Grill, and Gemma looked over at Stefan with a encouraging smile.

"So I guess we better try Elena again.." Stefan texted Elena.

"You did not tell me the party was at Tyler's..." 

"Sorry, how about I'm your date for the whole night." Gemma glared at Stefan, but her looked changed instantly.

"Fine. Now I gotta make sure I look awesome. Bye. See you later." Gemma kissed Stefan's cheek, "you better make this an impressive first date." Gemma left the grill and drove back home.
