Chapter Twenty-Five

Today was Thanksgiving the twins were already a month old and hungry little monsters. Elena had invited both Stefan, Gemma, and the twins to her Friends-giving.

"What do you mean, you aren't going?" Gemma questioned, setting out the twins outfits.

"Damon, Alaric and I are going to Portland to see if we can find the Ascendent to bring Bonnie back." Gemma glared at him.

"You're making me go to this damn dinner party alone. So as payback, I'm going to wear the hottest dress I have." Stefan just smiled.

"You were going to do that anyways, since you have your body back." Gemma lifted her shirt and pointed to her once again toned body.

"I mean, wouldn't you.." she smiled at Stefan, and the couple kissed, "you're going to miss out on my awesome cheesecake I..."

"Bought from the store?"

"Exactly.. but go. Go bring Bonnie back. I love you and call me later?"

"Yes. I love you too!" he grabbed his bag and went to go give the twins kisses. Gemma sighed and picked up Jordyn and put her in the outfit she had picked out. She put her in her carseat before putting Jaxson into his carseat. This was not going to be easy. She put on her dress and heels and took the twins to the front door of the cabin, that her and Stefan shared with Damon and Enzo. She went to the kitchen and grabbed the cheesecake and a couple other things Elena told her to bring and took them to the car. She used her speed and rushed inside and got the twins, carrying both of them and putting them inside the car.

When she got to the dorm room and saw Tyler;

"Ty!"

"Gemma, hey! Damn, you look hot.."

"Uh thanks. But can you help me? I have a lot of stuff in my trunk and I have the twins."

"Where is, Stefan."

"Helping Alaric and Damon.."

"Bummer. But yeah, pop your trunk." she did as he asked and grabbed Jordyn's carseat and then went around to the other side of the car and got out Jaxson, "they're growing fast.."

"They eat, so fucking much. It's exhausting."

"How much stuff did you bring?!" 

"I bought something for the twins to lay in so they don't get bored.. I'm new at this, Tyler! Don't you judge me!" he threw his hands up and closed the trunk.

"There, I think I got it all. Thanks for waiting for me."

"Thanks for your help. Sorry for snapping, a bit sleep deprived. I also haven't fed in two weeks because I can never leave the fucking house. This is the first time, I've been out of the damn cabin since the twins have been born."

"Jesus, Gem. You're a shut in." he laughed. We walked into the dorm room and Gemma was instantly taken back by the squeal coming from Caroline.

"BABIES!" she took Jordyn from me and used her speed to get her out of the carseat which earned a little giggle from Jordyn. 

"I am severely over-dressed." Gemma commented looking around the room at the people. 

"You've been stuck in maternity clothes the last couple months, so you're free to be the hottest person here." Elena said taking Jaxson from her, Gemma helped Tyler and gave him another thank you before looking around the room. Gemma saw Liv come into the room and the two girls smiled at each other;

"Where do you want the stuffing?"

"Well, hello to you, too." Tyler said. Jo entered the room.

"Hey, Gem. But I'll take that. Hi. I'm Jo. You look... have we met before?"
