ARDUOUS
Sandra is expected to meet her client in a resto somewhere in Makati. Most likely, she ordered meetings to take place in Vanity's, in contrary to this rendezvous she will be attending. This is certainly an exemption, since she recognized her client as a big fish she is yet to catch.
" Good morning, madame" A male host approaches her with polite greetings and a smile
"Hi, I have a reservation at 11:00 am with Mr. Yoshiro"
"This way, please" The host guides her way to a VIP room, as she requested, quiet enough to conduct a business conversation. "Thank you"
"Would you like to have a drink first?"
"A daiquiri would do"
"Surely, ma'am"

His phone is ringing constantly and he keeps declining it. It is not because he is occupied with work but rather the caller, itself, is seemed to be the problem.
Anastacia.
He sighs anxiously and glances at his phone again, reluctant to answer her call. Changing his phone number would be the best solution, if only.
"What is this again, Ana. I told you it---"
"Let's talk please. Somewhere."
"What, do you really expect me to believe you again after what you've done?"
"I know I caused you a lot of trouble and I'm willing to put things in order. Look, it is up to you if you want to believe me or not but I want to make an apology. Especially to Sandra."
"Are you mad? What are you thinking? Do you think that would be easy to ask for her forgiveness? Ana, listen we're all good. If you want peace then leave us alone."
"Meet me somewhere, a public place if that would put you in ease."
"Seriou--" Arman is still talking when all of a sudden the line got cut. That's her last words after hanging up the phone.

"It's nice meeting you Mr. Yoshiro. I hope to start the project with your company very soon.Thank you for making this deal possible. What a pleasure having business with you."
"We trust you and Vanity's. I just hope, this project is in good hands."
"This is such an honor and I guarantee, we won't disappoint you."
And just like that, she closed the deal in victory. Another achievement to be added in Vanity's legacy.
She is on her way out of the VIP room, when her eyes caught a very intriguing view. She came into a complete halt. This is something she didn't expect to see. She felt like collapsing; her breathing starts to grow rapidly. She manages to get a support from the lacquered wood next to her.
Arman and Anastacia are sharing a conversation to one of the tables nearby. The air is stifling- she can feel her heart getting suffocated inside.
But he promised.
She bites her bottom lip, trying not to break down. And before it happens, she has to escaped from the bitter scene. That's what she did. She left and avoided glancing back.

After returning back to Vanity's, Sandra finds way to distract herself from thinking. I guess, work will help her focus more on worthy things than the useless ones.
She thought they were fine. That things are starting to get back to its original place. She shakes her head as the vision of the incident waved in her head. She takes another deep breath, 'No more crying', and drowns herself in tons of paperwork that are waiting for attention.
