I'm not a morning person, so when I was forced to wake up at 4.30 a.m, I wish the bathroom has a bed to let me sleep for fifteen more minutes. Today is the day we're going to the school camping and we need to arrive at school at 5.30 a.m because the driving will take four to five hours to arrive at the camping site.

Since this is a school program, we need to wear a school t-shirt. We have a t-shirt made especially for the program outside of school. We all wear this t-shirt on the first day since there's also other students from other schools who will be at the campsite with us. Looks like the government not only supports our school but others as well— obviously.

I couldn't rely on Raft to take me to school at the morning like this, so my father is the one who will ride me to school. I arrive at school at 5.25 a.m. Even from the school gate, I could see a two large buses at the parking lot. A lot of students has already arrived and gathered in front of it. I look around and spot Aya.

"Aya! You arrived so early," I say to her. She gives me a side eye.

"I thought you will be the one who will arrive the latest." My lips twitch when hearing that.

"There's no way I would. You should know the most about how excited I was." I flip my hand to my chest and turn away to show that I'm offended by her words.

"Ryder, Nina is sulking! Can you soothe her?" She says with a voice loud enough for all people around us to hear. I quickly close her mouths with my hand.

"Are you crazy? Why are you shouting like that?" I fiercely glare at her.

"At least in the form four, there's no one who doesn't know about your crush on Ryder. Since they knew, why do you still want to hide it?" What she said makes sense.

"But it's still a one-sided love! Ryder has not confessed to me or admit that he likes me yet. To other people, I may look kind of desperate to get his attention." She sighs at my statement.

"I wonder who would think like that when..." before she could finish her sentences, Ryder came to us.

"You call me?" he asks. Aya smirks before whispering to me.

"When he also willingly be your attention," she finished her sentences earlier. Seriously, I need to adapt to this thing so I won't blushing anymore.

"Yes, I called you. Nina is sulking. Look at just how red her face is, showing that she's still mad at me. Why don't you try to soothe her?" I look at her in disbelief. Did she just sold me out using my blushing face? She smiles innocently at me.

"Oh, my boyfriend is there. You two can have your time together," she says before going to Zack. I just watch her leaving befire turn to face Ryder.

"Are you really going to soothe me?"

"Why not?" He grins at me before patting my head gently.

"Don't sulk anymore."

Oh, my heart. Although he treats me like I'm a pet, it's still feeling so nice. Is this what you called affection? What can I do to get this affection everyday from him?

As I'm just being still when he pats me, I could feel a lot of gazes on us. Especially Aya. I can feel the strong gazes coming from her. She must be enjoying this, but surprisingly, I didn't mad at her. I even want to give her a thumbs up for creating this situation.

"You can stop now. It's almost time before we ride the bus," I tell him. As if right on cue, the teacher start to gather us and ask us to make a four line. Two lines of boys and two lines of girls.

"Now, I will check your attendance so please answer loudly when your name is called out."
