The next morning y/n and Alastor met up with Charles to which he guided them to a black and white checkered ball room

"Good taste for my dear Rosie" Alastor said out loud

"Right! I hunted for this place. Without the help of y/n, I wouldn't have gotten it the day I wanted it"

"It's pretty hard to get this place, how did you manage to get it" Alastor asked curiously

"I have my ways" y/n gave a devilish smile

"Alright y/n. Alastor. Guests will start arriving in about 6 hours so chop chop" Charles hummed as he skipped out the door

Y/n snapped her fingers, the entire decor of the place was black, white, and a dusty royal purple.

"Alright then. That was easy. Now I just have to wait about 5 hours and 45 minutes to set up the food"

"That's it dear?" Alastor tilted his head "then we couldn't have a lunch together"

"Well yeah Alastor, I'm tryna make sure this place stays protected in case any of those little slimy fuckers wanna try anything" y/n glared at one of the employees trying to sneak their way in.

"Hmm" Alastor sat in the chair and stretched

"You're welcomed to nap if you'd like. I pretty much got this handled"

"I feel like you have something sinister planned if I sleep, darling" Alastor laughed

Y/n giggled "how did you know?"

"Just a simple guess dear." They both looked out into the chaos of pride

"I have a question for you" y/n glanced over at him

"Hmm?"

"Do you remember what it's like being human" y/n asked a little curiously

"Not really dear. I've been here quite a while. Why do you ask"

"I've always envied you sinners for being human. I know you're a lord now but still"

"Why darling? Being born in hell gives you privileges most sinners would beg for. Including myself."

"I'm aware of that but you got to be human. Live and die. Felt emotions most demons can't. Living two lives"

"You have the ability to be go into the human world"

"Yes as a demon dressed as a human. Never just human." Y/n sighed, "it's just not the same than to experience your human things"

"How so?"

"Did your father ever bring you to the human world so you can learn to possess deer to scare humans into making folklore stories about you?"

"No but I was always taught to hunt deer did you ever witness a stock market crash that many parents killed themselves" Alastor let out a little chuckle

"What in the Satan is a stock market crash?"

They both laughed for a moment

"Dear, I always find the fact that you demons say things like oh my Satan amusing"

"Do you not say that?"

"Oh heavens no. We say things like oh my god"

"That's so strange. Isn't it like a big no no to say the 'lords' name in vain?"

"Technically yes but no one actually cares" he chuckled

The room fell silent for a moment. They both just looked at each other before a loud crashing sound stung their ears. Y/n glitched from shadow to normal. She looked outside to see little sprinkles of rain beginning to fall.
