Y/n made her way back to pride with Alastor to start planning their engagement party. He wants some sort of New Orleans theme for it. Of course, it's all he can think about.
"So we are officially engaged" y/n said to the group with a big smile while throwing her hands up in the air.
Angel high fived here "good job princess. You took him off our hands"
Husk for once put the bottle down, knowing exactly what that will mean for him.
"That doesn't mean I won't be around" Alastor grinned "I just have other responsibilities I have to take care of"
Vaggie rolled her eyes but Charlie just gleamed with love in her eyes
"Awwwwwwww that's just so cute" Charlie hummed.
"We still have some planning to do but we were wondering if we could use your hotel? Alastor wants everyone to be able to come here so maybe there will be sinners there you can ya know. Put your magic on" y/n elbows Charlie who just seemed even more excited about this.
"OMG OMG Alastor you were really doing that for me" she smiled at the radio demon
He patted her head "of course Charlie. Why else would I invite pride to come?"
"To show off and prove that you are the cruelest overlord" y/n muttered under her breath. She felt a swift tap with Alastors cane to her gut which led to her doubling over in pain. "Asshole"
Charlie didn't seem to notice this little exchanged due to her talking to vaggie about it.
"When will be this party" Angel smirked "if you need some entertainment, I'll be there"
"Our party will be this weekend." Y/n smiled
"Then we don't have much time! We need to get this placed cleaned up and renovated" Charlie said. Nifty began to run around aggressively killing bugs
Charlie was planning on the renovations of the hotel with vaggie while Angel and husk just sat at the bar.
Y/n and Alastor walked up to his hotel room to begin creating decorations.
"I'm not very familiar with New Orleans and it's style in the 1920s so I'll leave that to you while I start to create the invitations. Charles is an excellent caterer so I thought to have Rosie and Charles make some food for everyone"
"That sounds splendid my dear" Alastor was swinging his cane to test out different decorations in his room.
"Hmm" she turned to look at Alastor "you want to invite the Vees?"
Alastor gave out a sinister grin. "I felt like it"
"You want to prove your dominance by showing off your Princess of wrath fiancé" she glared at him with a small smirk
They both just started to laugh "it is funny to watch him lose signal" y/n placed a hand on her stomach
"Bzzt bzzt" Alastor mocked which sent y/n on the ground laughing.
"Stop stop" she wheezed "I can't breathe"
Alastor offer his hand to y/n, which she easily took.
He wrapped one hand around her waist while keeping his other holding hers.
She calmed her laughing, staring into his crazy red eyes.
"I think we've forgotten an important part of this engagement" y/n placed her free hand on his chest
"What's that my dear?"
"The ring"
Alastor released his grasp on her then walked over to his desk "do not worry about that! I have something around here"
He pulled out a small black box. Walking back over to y/n "despite what I like to do in my free time, my dear, I'm still a gentleman"
Y/n tilted her head curiously "what do you mean by that?"
Alastor offered his arm, which she took. He guided her through the forest which is conveniently placed in his hotel room.
"I don't believe you've ever took me through here" y/n looked around. It was your most basic spooky forest but about 15 minutes of walking, the fog had cleared and instead was a fresh creek running through
"Alastor?"
"Hmm?" He hummed
"How did you manage to put an entire forest in here?" She raised an eyebrow
"My dear, I have my ways" he stopped a few feet from the creek, staring off
"What is that?" She pointed at the creek "I've never seen such clean water in a forest before"
"Oh this? It's a creek darling. You're telling me that in your years of being alive you've never visited a forest on earth?" Alastor turned to face her. She seemed extremely focused on the stream. Listening to the noise
"Not really, no. Only time on earth I've spent, other than saving you idiots, was for training to be a skinwalker. I was mainly up in the mountains in more creepy areas" she looked at him
"I see. Well my dear, take a look! This is just a simple body of water. Animals drink from this, this could be used for one of those fancy water farms and if you happen to feel sassy as the young will say, you can even swim in it"
Y/n looked at the creek and back at him "you swim in things like this?"
"Yes darling. I used to as a kid" he balanced himself on his cane.
Y/n stripped off her dress, leaving on her undergarments. She jumped into the creek, which was surprisingly more deep than she thought.
"Whoaaaaaa. Is this what you humans have done for fun" she dunked her head under the water and back up "wow and this water is so nice!"
Alastor chuckled, taking her dress and then hanging it from a tree branch. He sat on the tree trunk, placing his chin on his cane.
Y/n floated for a bit, looking at him "what are you doing?"
"Oh nothing, dear, just staring at you" his grin seemed a lot more genuine. "But I'm surprised with how lady like you are, this seems a little out of the ordinary for you"
Y/n giggled "I never got to enjoy much as a child." Twirling around, she swam up closer to him, placing her elbows on the on the grass.
"I'll have to show you more than just this" his grin widened
"Hey Alastor, can you come here for a moment" she asked innocently
Alastor stood, taking off his coat as a 'just in case' he knelt down to her.
Y/n kissed him. During the kiss, as Alastor expected, she grabbed his dress shirt, throwing him into the creek.
"You're going to get it now" Alastor smiled wide, heading towards her
