A/N: Again, TOA and TSATS are NOT canon in this fic (they didn't exist when I started it; I think not even MCGA was complete at the time), so don't come at me if you read it and it says different from my fic. Explanation before you need it in the chapter: Pavlov was a guy that pretty much proved how it's possible to create a connection between stimuli/action and consequence. He'd put a bell in front of his dogs and every time they rang, he would give them food. After a while, the dogs understood that, if they wanted food, they had to ring the bell (bell=food). This is a concept we are already familiar by now, but he first proved it and that got his name famous, it even became a verb (there is a running joke that the unpredictable consequence would be that any time HE heard a bell, even outside of his house, his first thought would be about feeding his dogs – so stimuli can go both ways). There are also ways you can pavlov yourself, like every time you study math, which you hate, you then get ice cream, which you love. After a while, when the teacher gives you math homework, you get excited because your brain already knows this means ice cream, so the homework is not that heavy. The psychology of giving yourself a treat after something hard to accomplish is based on Pavlov's experiment. You can also pavlov someone negatively, like cat drops glass, get squirted with water. (it was too long to explain in the dialogue, but I love talking about it and knowing kind gives sense to the sentence it was used on)

Will's Flashback

MONDAY, 20th February

I hate you so much.

But I didn't do anything! This time, anyway.

You were the one to convince me to watch 'just another episode'! And look where it got us!

In my defense, I wasn't aware it would end in a cliffhanger that much... hanging.

It's still your fault.

You know you could've just watched the first five minutes to satiate your curiosity and leave the rest of the episode to watch tonight. If you had done that, you wouldn't have been stuck in another cliffhanger that led to another episode that you ALSO watched fully out of your own volition.

And you didn't think of saying that before I watched everything?

Again, this is your fault, not mine.

You know very well I'm not used to- is that Piper?

Close to the school main entrance, Piper was to the side, both hands on a girl's shoulders. Will had seen her twice and she hid from him most of the time, but he could recognize as the pregnant girl Piper was currently housing in her guest room. He wasn't sure what his friend was saying, but he could see it was making the other girl anxious. He approached them, enough to get the last part.

"... and if someone gets too nosy, just punch them."

The dark-skinned girl looked alarmed.

"Punch them!?"

"Politely."

I would've expected it from Annabeth, not the daughter of the love goddess.

For better or for worse, Piper is a little too similar to Annabeth when it comes to 'attack first, ask questions later'.

He grabbed his friend by the arm and started to drag her with him to enter the school, despite her protests.

"Will!"

"What about leaving the girl to make her own decisions about her own life."

"I promised to support her."
