Percy let his head fall on the desk while the teacher kept rambling about something he wasn't interested.
I hate school.

Percy could feel someone glaring at him.
Is she going to stop?
I don't think so.
I can almost feel the mermaid's glare boring a hole into my skull.
Well, she hates us now, what did you expect?
Peace, quiet and a normal life?
Really?
The class was almost over and he could still feel Sirena glaring at him from some rows to the side.
You know what? I'm done.
What do you mean?
Just wait and see.
You know I hate when you say this.
The bell finally rang and Percy dart to the door before anyone else. And stopped.
What? Are we not going out? I thought you hated it here.
Just a second.
Percy turned and spotted her. He yelled to get her attention and everyone else in class.
"HEY, SIRENA."
Sirena raised her head and narrowed her eyes to him. Everyone slowed down their moves and kept the noise to a minimum, in hopes of hearing what he was going to say. Not that they needed, because his voice was everything but a whisper.
"If you could find another hobby besides staring at me? It looks like you can't decide between jumping on me or my throat. I almost feel like you're that sparkly fairy-vampire. I broke up with you, just get over it."
She set her jaw and disgust was clear in her face. Some people looked down, others just glanced at her and snickered. Percy got out of class like nothing happened.
Now she really hates us.
Hate is not a word strong enough. Maybe loathe.
Annabeth taught you that?

"Hey, Reyna. You seem disturbed."
"That's because I am."
"Why?"
"I'm disturbed how quickly gossip spreads in high school."
"You're talking about..."
"You telling Sirena off."
"Really? That reached to you? Already?"
Wow, now even I'm impressed.
I'm not. We're a legend now, thanks to you getting into Vanessa's AND Sirena's blacklist.

"Now you understand why I'm disturbed?"
"Why worry about it when we can play?"
