Chp 19 - Percy's POV

Percy's Flashback

Stop smiling! Don't you dare smile with my body when I'm fuming in here.

I can't help it. I'm happy. Very happy!

Don't you dare be happy about doing something with MY body that made ME very UNHAPPY.

I'm still very happy. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, my Wise Girl kissed me...

Sun? Birds!? Man, what happened to you?

My Wise Girl.

Really? This morning, you got revenge on Vanessa, the most scary cheerleader, in a way that earned us a MONTH of detention. Even I wasn't able to do that with only one shot. But now, just a few hours later, a girl kisses you, a NERD girl, and you turn into a lovesick puppy? What the hell?

Percy felt a hand grab his arm and squeezed it until he was sure the nails would leave a mark. He looked down at his arm and corrected himself. Talons. Those things could not be called nails.

Oh, no. Run!

Why?

"Peter? Did you forgot about me already, sweety?"

Because that's Sirena.

Crap.

Percy turned to face her and sure enough, she was smiling widely, but he could see the anger printed on her face.

"Hey, Sirena"

"So you still remembers me, right? Why were you avoiding me, Peter? Were you just busy?"

"Yes?"

A little help here?

I can't. She was my first serious girlfriend, I have no idea what to do in this situation.

"Peter ,why don't you kiss me?"

"Ahn..."

Percy could feel Annabeth looking at him. He wanted to run to her, but Sirena was surprisingly strong, and her grip on him wouldn't diminish. He felt her nails, talons, on his skin and had a weird moment remembering Mrs. Dodds, when she gave him a ride to see Hades at his throne. Of course, Hades then locked him up, until Nico came and...

"You wouldn't want me to think you don't love me anymore, right?"

Percy looked up and saw a shocked Annabeth staring at him. He tried to let her know how sorry he was about she witnessing that. But that moment costed him, because Sirena grabbed him and kissed. It wasn't a passionate kiss, it was a hard one. He knew she was making clear how furious she was and that he better not walk out. But a hurt Annabeth scared him more than anything. He disentlaged from Sirena with a move he would normally only use against monsters. He tried to look for Annabeth, but she wasn't there anymore. He quickly looked down to a chocked Sirena, soon turning into a furious one, and walked away.
