2 weeks later
Moon had been spending a lot of time trying to find a way to get rid of Eclipse. Finally he came to us with one.
"It's very risky though. It might be too hard on his system, and he could well... Like Eclipse said.... Die. There's no other way though. I'm not sure we should do it but it's up to him." Moon said.
"I want to take the risk." Sun said.
"But Sun you could die! I can't lose you." I said.
"I know Sunshine. But I need to take the risk. To feel like I tried. No matter what happens." He said.
I looked down. "If that's what you want then I'll support you."
We got to Parts and Service, and Sun lied down on the chair thing.
"Sun I just have to say... You're my brother and I love you." Moon said.
"I love you too brother."
They shared a hug, and then I took Sun's hands.
"Sun, I love you so much. If this is the last time I see you, I just need you to know that. I love you."
"I love you too Sunshine."
We hugged, and then Moon brought the flash drive over.
"You ready?" He asked.
"I'm ready." Sun response.
Moon plugged the flash drive in Sun's head, and he shut down.
We waited, and then Moon pulled it out. He plugged it in the computer. All of Sun's code appeared on it. Moon read through it, found Eclipse's code, and deleted it. Then he added any filler he thought was needed to help the system get used to it and prevent anything else from growing. He made sure whatever he added wouldn't mess Sun up though.
After he was done, he took the flash drive out, and then plugged it back in Sun's head.
"I can't lose him Moon. I don't know what I'll do without him." I said.
Moon hugged me. "He'll be ok. Don't worry."
"You don't know that."
"I know. But no matter what happens, we're in it together. He if we lose him, it's hard on me too."
I hugged him tighter, and allowed a few tears to escape. Too many things have happened lately.
Then Moon moved away to pull the flash drive out. He looked at me before turning him on.
I nodded.
This is the moment of truth.
