It had been a few weeks since we got rid of Eclipse. Sun had been getting more stressed lately. It makes sense though after everything that has happened.
Me and him were taking a walk around the Pizza Plex, when suddenly I heard him fall. I turned to him.
"I hate my stupid smile! I'm not happy! I'm sick of having a plastered smile on my face!!" He said.
He started clawing at his face, as if he was trying to rip it off.
I quickly ran to him, sliding into a sitting position and grabbed his hands, quickly pulling them down.
"Sun stop!" I said, pulling him into a huge.
He hugged back and just broke down.
"I want to feel tears sometimes. I don't want a permanent smile." He said as he dug his fingers into my back.
"I get it Sun. I do. Sometimes the people who smile the most hurt the most and you've been going through a lot. But I promise you even though it doesn't feel like it now, these feelings will pass. I'm here for you Sun."
I let him cry and cry. At this point I couldn't tell if he was having a panic attack.
"Deep breaths, deep breaths, let it all out. It's ok I'm here."
"I know.... I know... But-.... There's just so much. I don't even know were to start,..."
"I know Sun. Just let it out, and when you feel ready to talk, if you want to, I'm here."
"Thank you Sunshine..."
We stayed like that for some time until Sun started to calm down. I felt him relax.
"I'm... Feeling tired." He said.
"Then rest."
"Are you sure? Aren't I heavy?"
"I don't mind."
"Moon will worry."
"You're the one worrying."
"You're right..."
After a few minutes, I could tell he was in rest mode.
20 minutes passed, and I felt him stir. He looked up at me.
"Hey Sun."
"I haven't rested that good in a while. Thank you Sunshine. It really means a lot."
"Of course Sun."
"It's just after you almost died, and I almost killed Moon, and then Eclipse, and me almost dieing.... I just reached my breaking point."
"I understand Sun, I've been there. And it's been hard on me too."
"Thanks Sunshine."
"Should we go back now?"
He nodded, and we headed back. When we got there Moon greeted us. Although it felt like he was growing distant. Again.
