The smell of burning food woke Laney up. What the fuck. Where was Morgan? She ripped the covers off and started to run into the kitchen but slowed down as she heard a string of curse words from the kitchen.

As she peered her head into the kitchen she saw Morgan watching a Martha Stewart video on making French Toast and the pan was looking... black. She took a picture making the flash go off and Morgan turned around in a little apron.

"Laney get back in bed," he whined, "Breakfast in bed" he gestured to the pans and bowls in the sink and on the counter.

"Babe it's smokey in here," she said as she went to open up the back door.

"Laney baby," he begged.

She immediately turned around and made her way back into his bed. Who knew he would be such a romantic? It was quite funny seeing him attempting to cook. She posted a picture on Instagram where his back was facing the camera and you could see the video and the pan: Sunday scaries... just kidding. I love you.

The door creaked open and Laney looked up to see Morgan with a foldable table and the breakfast. Laney tried to stifle her laughter as she saw little burnt potatoes.

"Aweee thanks babe," she smiled.

"Smile," he said as he grabbed his phone to take a picture, "It's going to my mama".

She smiled and took a bite of the food... it wasn't particularly bad.

"Why are you making that face?" he asked her making himself a plate.

"What face?" she asked.

He took a bite and choked, "We are getting breakfast".

She started to laugh, "I can just make us some," as she took the cover off but he slapped his hand down to prevent her from doing so.

"Nah. I wanted to treat my girl," he said.

She felt over the moon. But that feeling didn't last long when she received a text message from Ana.

Ana: Have you seen this?

Laney leaned her head into Morgan's shoulder as she clicked the link and there it was. How could she have been so stupid?

Her eyes started to tear up as she immediately sat upright while Morgan was still placing the order, making him glance at her in confusion.

She got up and walked to the bathroom to splash some water on her face so she wouldn't freak out. But she was internally freaking out. She patted her face dry and took a few deep breaths before proceeding to look his name up on Google. And the articles slowly began to pour in.

She went back into bed and the two looked at each other.

"Morgan"

"Laney"

Did he know?

The two quite literally spoke at the same time.

"Morgan I'm really sorry," she softly said.

"For what?" he asked in confusion.

She handed him her phone and he began to read the article. Laney stared at him trying to find some sort of reaction but there was none.

"Laney?"

"Yes"

"I don't care. It's not anything bad and it's not like I'm embarrassed. Let them speculate. Are you okay with this?" he said.

She shook her head.

"Ok then it's okay don't apologize".

She blinked dumbfounded. That was it? She overreacted over nothing. Even though her privacy would probably be intruded from now on, it was worth it. If he constantly dealt with it, that means she could do the same too.

Laney: Guess the cat is out of the bag! Headlines are crazy though

Ana had sent her a link to an article with her Instagram post she posted of the back of his head with the headline: Morgan Wallen's New Girlfriend?

These people were fast that was for sure.

"What were you saying earlier?" she asked turning to him.

There was a knock on the door and he got up, "Oh it can wait until we eat".

He carried in the bag of food and Laney put on TV for the two to watch. Being one of those people who couldn't wait for someone to tell them something they were about to say was a difficult task for her.

The food was definitely much better than whatever Morgan was trying to make. Some pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage links, and fruit. She was in heaven.

The two had finished their food and Morgan stepped outside to take a phone call immediately, making Laney impatient. She watched TV for another ten minutes before deciding to hop in the shower.

Luckily, she embarrassingly brought a box of her shower essentials and some clothes over so she didn't have to drive around Knoxville looking like a ratchet girl in his clothes all the time.

She stepped into the shower and saw a speaker Morgan must have installed into the showerhead. Grabbing her phone she connected to the Bluetooth. She decided to play his song Everything I Love and it worked.

Humming and singing along she shampooed and conditioned her hair until the next song from the album played.

"Listenin' to me because you missed me?" he grinned from outside the shower as he walked in and began to strip down.

"No. I like the song. You took forever," she said peeking her head out the door.

"I'm here now," he said stepping in while grabbing her ass.

"Hey! What was that about anyway?" she asked while washing her body.

"They just solidified my tour dates, Laney. We are going on tour," he smiled.

Laney wanted to smile but she couldn't. What about me?

"Starting when?" she asked.

"In two months. Are you excited? You and I get to travel everywhere in the States," he gave her a kiss while washing his hair.

"I'm so proud of you," she smiled giving him a kiss, "Except I can't join you the whole time Morgan".

"Why not? Just work remotely," he suggested to her.

"I can't just do that Morgan. It's not that simple. Do you want me to quit my job?"

"... I could support you if you want," he shrugged.

"Morgan you're not getting it. I came here to live here and build a career here. I'm not just going to leave it all behind for you," she said instantly regretting her words.

His eyes widened in shock, "Ok damn. Sorry I even said anything".

She stepped out of the shower, "Morgan-"

"No you said what you meant," he said turning the water off.

"I didn't mean it like that I'm sorry," she said.

He stayed quiet as he grabbed his towel and walked by her.
