This one is short I'm sorry but you'll see why....

When she woke up, it was bright and sunny. Morgan had his arms wrapped around her and his eyes were fluttering open, the both of them had fallen asleep on the couch.

"Good morning," she yawned covering her mouth.

He nuzzled his head into her shoulder and groaned in response as she reached for her phone.

5 missed calls from Bean and 6 messages.

Bean: Good morning do you know where Morgan is?
Bean: Laney?
Bean: He has an interview in 30 and we haven't heard from him.
Bean: Are you guys okay?
Bean: Well he missed his interview
Bean: Call me

"Babe wake up. You missed your interview," she bluntly said.

Morgan shot up, "Oh fuck," and immediately dialed Bean's number.

She got up and began brushing her teeth as he was getting ripped a new one by Bean. She could tell by the way he held the phone away from his ear for a minute before proceeding to speak. She changed into a cream jumpsuit and a cardigan, braiding her hair. Today felt like a good day already.

Morgan walked over running his hand through his hair, "Well he is mad".

"What did he say?"

"Dunno I tuned him out"

Laney rolled her eyes, "What are we doing today?"

"Early show".

She nodded getting the hint that he was not in a good mood.

"We had a good night," he randomly said as he changed and she sat in the corner on her phone.

"Yup," she nodded, "Thank you for doing this babe".

He gave her a peck on the cheek as he put on his shoes.

"Ana and Jack never texted me," Laney sadly realized. She was looking so forward to the two of them being there in Memphis but there was still no word for the Indianapolis show. It was off-behavior for both of them.

"Come on we are leaving," he said completely ignoring her comment.

To say that he was slowly getting on her nerves was an understatement but the fact that he got yelled at on the phone by Bean was a big deal. Bean never yelled at Morgan the whole time she observed the two interact, so he really had to fuck up.

Getting in the car, it was silent. Bean wasn't there to get them today for whatever odd reason but Laney knew better than to question it. Looking next to her, she saw Morgan looking out the window lost in thought and debating on going to reach his hand. But he clearly was in a mood and she would've been crushed if he rejected her hand.

"I'm late," he groaned, "Can you drive faster?".

The car ride was filled with silence and as they got out Laney apologized quickly for his behavior. Today just was not his day.

As they got out of the car, they were immediately met with Bean. "Sandy will take you," he told Morgan, "Have a good show today man. Take it easy".

Morgan nodded and hopped in Sandys golf cart not even saying a word to Laney. It was a whole 180. As she watched them drive off, Bean spoke, "We are going to the crowd".

"Bean... what did you say on the phone? He has been in a horrible mood," she asked carefully.

"Laney. He cost us a contract of $80k. It wasn't taken lightly," Bean said.

She nodded, "I'm sorry I didn't respond to you".

"It isn't your responsibility. Sorry, you have to deal with his crap attitude today," Bean said.

The show had already begun by the time they got to the crowd, the lights were already down and fans were already singing along to Broadway Girls as he walked out. He was visibly anxious about it all but trying to seem in a good mood but halfway through, it seemed like he had forgotten all about it.

The show was a typical show. He sang his songs, Laney could never not have fun as she would be dancing with a drink in her hand and then Bean took her to see him in wardrobe right after.

"That was a good show babe," she piped as she walked into the room.

"Thank you. Did you have fun?" he gave her a kiss on the lips and held her for a minute.

She nodded and scrunched her nose, "Sweatyy".

He grinned as he began kissing her face all over and squeezing her tightly making her squeal, "MORGAN".

He let her go and sniffed the air, "You should shower".

She broke out laughing as he gave her another kiss, "I love you".

"I love you more".

As he changed, she sat on her unofficial designated stool waiting for him and began scrolling through her phone.

"What do you want to eat?" she hollered at him as he came into view.

"It's up to you," he shrugged changing into a new shirt.

"Well I'm think-"

And then there was silence. Not because he cut her off. Not because she lost her train of thought. But the silence from the headline: Morgan Wallen Has Kid With Former Lover.
