By the time they got to Memphis, Laney was wiped out and so was Morgan. Moving all their stuff onto the plane, celebrating having a plane, and then getting ready for the show was exhausting. Regardless, the excitement of having their friends in town would make up for it all.
This time Laney got ready with Morgan, in the wardrobe room. His photographer was there to capture it all, her name was Morgan but she went by her last name: Cook.
"What do you think I should wear?" Laney asked.
Cook clicked a picture of Laney holding up both a dress and a two-piece set before pointing to the two-piece, making Laney laugh.
Laney began to change in the open and put on the red leather two-piece, "Babe! Can we go out after the show?".
Morgan peeped his head out the corner, "Hot damn... if you wear that, then yes".
Laney turned red as Morgan came over to spin her in a circle.
"When are-"
Laney was interrupted by Bean opening the door and in piled Thomas and Lauren.
"Oh my god," Laney squealed out of excitement hugging all of them.
"Bean filled us in about the plane, congrats man," Thomas hugged Morgan.
Laney laughed about the situation and Lauren cleared her throat making everyone look at her, "So I have a present".
Laney and Morgan looked at each other before back at Lauren, who gave them both boxes. The two opened their boxes and Laney pulled out a shirt that said "Best Auntie" making her immediately hug Lauren with tears in her eyes. Morgan's eyes lit up as he congratulated Thomas.
Once the four of them settled down, it was time for Morgan to go onstage.
"Boy or girl?" Laney asked.
"Boy," Thomas and Lauren answered, "Girls are driving us crazy".
Laney laughed, "I'm so happy for you both. We are going out tonight but we can do-"
"No no we will go out too," Thomas quickly said as the lights went down, "At least for an hour".
Laney quickly checked her phone to see if she got any messages from Ana or Jack, but there was nothing. Then out came Morgan, getting hyped for the show and saying grace.
Broadway Girls started to play and Laney began dancing with Lauren, who was nudging Bean during the infamous line. Then she saw a sign of Morgan making out with one of the Memphis girls that said "Kiss Two?". She couldn't help but stop and stare at this girl to see what she looked like. She was tan, blonde hair, skinny, and wearing a short shorts and a top that was barely a top. She looked like one of those girls Laney would cut out from a magazine and put on her visionboard.
She tried to not let it get to her but Thomas soon followed her gaze and put a hand on her shoulder and handed her his drink to have, "It isn't worth it". She took a big swig of the Jack & Coke, a drink she truly dreaded but not tonight.
"Hey, can I get a Tequila Soda with Lime?" Laney asked Bean, who complied and left.
Lauren tapped Laney and signaled her to the VIP bathroom. The two walked away and Lauren began to speak, "How has the tour been feeling?".
"It was miserable after show two but to be honest, with this plane, it is slightly better and allows for us to explore more places and go home more. We talked about it and it went well. How has it been telling the kids about your newest edition?"
"They are really excited to be bigger and older. I know this next one will be well-loved. Thomas cried out of excitement so I'm super happy, I've always known I've wanted to be a mom.... Can I ask you something?" Lauren asked as she opened the bathroom door and Laney nodded.
