We're sitting outside, on the same wall that I was sat at before. Dee and I are pretty much waiting for the boys and our parents because they're dealing with some stuff inside.
"She's right. Although I am mad at you for smoking without me, you ain't even think to give me a call?"
I laugh a little, "My bad"
"Me and Xavier got into an argument", I then say
"About what?"
"The whole West thing and the seven minutes in heaven"
"Oh you told him you guys kissed?" She says surprised
"Well he knew about the game, he just didn't know it was West"
"Are you guys ok?"
"Yeah, I'm glad we argued. He was getting so annoyed when I had an attitude though, it was turning me on-
My best friend snorts, "Amariah you got a mouth on you I swear to God"
"I do don't I. Hey did you see Archie?"
"I did, and since I'm not talking to him he sent me a paragraph which I ignored. Him and West can suck themselves"

Indiah then lies on my shoulder, "So what's the situation with Destiny?"
I think she's over the whole Xavier thing now, she sent me a text asking if I was ok since we didn't really get to speak about what happened, I assured her I'm fine now. By end of that conversation she had apologised to me for how everything played out in the past.
"I don't know, but if it wasn't for her I don't know what would've happened"
"Mmm, we'll see what the vibes are"
West's mom comes outside momentarily, she looks stressed but way less stressed than she did when she was with the chief. He's kind of mysterious, not once have I spoken to him but it's also not surprising that he managed to get away with the abuse for so long, you don't expect that shit from a police officer.
What I didn't expect was for Mrs Kennedy to approach us
"Honey, I am so sorry" She apologises
"It's ok Mrs Kennedy, it wasn't your fault"
It pained her to see the state of my wrists, "I know but I feel as if I should apologise on his behalf. I'm sure you're aware of what's going on"
I nod awkwardly and she sighs, "Anyway let's not get into it. Have a nice evening girls"
"And you", I reply softly
Indiah was just side eyeing her the entire time, she doesn't give a fuck at all and I know that if I wasn't here she would say something like 'Control your son'.
Anyway my mom came outside soon enough, holding Aidan's hand and also containers full of food in another. "You riding with us?" She asks me
"Can I meet you at home?"
