I have to say I was quite surprised to see her standing at the door, I really had lost all hope in her.
"Soo why aren't you at your party", I fill the silence

"I know I shouldn't have said all that shit to you, it was petty and childish and I didn't realise how much it hurt you until now.... I couldn't even blow out the candles on my own birthday cake because you're supposed to be there, shit you've always been there for the past sixteen years. I can't celebrate my birthday without you Ree" She apologies
I couldn't help but smile a little, "You really couldn't blow out your candles?"
"Bitch no, I started crying"

My face softens as she hugs me, "I'm sorry about what I said too", I murmur
"It's ok", She whispers with relief

No literally, it came from above us. My sisters are both looking out of Neveah's window, I'm assuming they watched the whole thing. Indiah blows them a kiss before turning back to me, "Alright come on get changed"

"Yeah we still got time left, B's watching the house whilst I'm gone"
"Ok let's go to my room, I have a couple outfits in mind"

Once I had changed into something nicer I sent mom a quick text to say where I was going, she was really surprised but relieved.

Xavier said he was gonna go meet with his friends because he didn't really wanna be in the house whilst the party was going on which is understandable. Meanwhile Indiah and I headed back over to the house and during the car ride we were having a big catch up.

Aunt Latoya's never really been a fan of face or body piercings, only ears. My mom isn't really too bothered about piercings, she just straight up told me that I wasn't allowed to have my tongue pierced (of any sort).
