As I stared down at the red stain on my skirt, frustration bubbled up inside me. Of all the places to be caught without a pad, why did it have to be here? I cursed under my breath, biting my lip in frustration. There was no way I could go out like this.

A gentle knock on the door interrupted my inner turmoil. "huy ano na?nalunod kana ata diyan?" a familiar voice called from the other side.
