Casper and Blair were led to the Main Hall of the Darkness Headquarters, called the DH.
"Is this where we're going to make a plan? I bet I could paint my nails and not miss anything." Blair said, admiring her nails.
Casper looked around. It looked pretty high tech, there was a throne at the end of the room, and there were guards at the entrance.
"Leave us." James said curtly.
As told, the guards left, and didn't complain because if they did they may be beheaded.
"So what are doing?" Casper demanded.
"This is about your grandfather." James said looking right into Casper's eyes when he said this.
"B-but w-what about him?" Blair asked, teary eyed.
Casper knew James had taken it to far, because he sighed and looked his sister straight in the eye.
"He was a Death Obtainer along with a Metal Obtainer. He was a remarkable Silver and has made it into history. Maybe you two can too, if you retrieve the Moonstone. But I need to tell you something else about it." James said.
He paused to turn around and sigh before going on.
"When the Moonstone is held in an evil soul's hands, the soul or person in the case, can control it. This even means tracking down a family member. I had a child, but my wife ran away while she was pregnant so I never got to know if it was a girl or a boy. But either way, I will find my child. I regret being so harsh to my wife, and now I want to fix all that, but of course, the Moonstone needs to be retrieved for power too."
That was quite a backstory, Casper thought. He wants to get his child back.
"Do you know what his/her name is?" Blair asked.
"The Moonstone will need to be retrieved so I can know." James sighed.
"I'm sorry about that, but shouldn't we get to making that plan or whatever?" Blair asked, and for the first time there was sympathy in her voice. For the first part of the sentence at least.
"Yes we are," James replied followed by a heavy sigh. "But this needs to be a full proof plan. If it's not, we'll never get the Moonstone."
"Alright, so what's the plan?" Casper asked, a smug smile on his face.
It looked like James wanted to slap that smile off Casper's face. He sighed and started to explain.
"So the plan is we for have to gather up an army. It seems we already have one. So next is at dawn in three days time we'll go to the Silver Ruins and get the Moonstone. The guards will take down anyone who tries to intervene, and we'll help with that matter of course. If anything else happens, we have Death Mist, which is the secret weapon."
"How do you know if this is going to work?" Blair asked in a sharp, commanding tone.
James sighed and gave her a glare." Because I've been in this 'evil' business a long time. I know what I'm doing."
Casper have his sister a look that said "we shouldn't mess with him so stop being an idiot."
"So is there anything we can do right now?" Casper asked in a serious tone.
"Actually yes. There is." James replied and turned away. "You two should practice your powers against each other, you don't know what could happen in battle."
Casper and Blair exchanged furious looks, but inside Casper knew Blair was scared. Definitely more scared then he'd ever be.
Casper and Blair walked to the center of the room and then out of the blue Blair took the first move.
In shock Casper was knocked off his feet from the metal that shot up from the ground. He immediately got back to his feet with a seething look of anger on his face. Blair just gave her brother a smug, satisfied smirk in pleasure that he was furious. Casper unleashed a wave of silvery transparent mist that crept towards Blair.
Blair put up a steel shield that deflected the mist and caused it to fade away. Casper was tired of waiting around to use his secret weapon, so he produced a black mist that swiftly made its way towards his sister. Blair was to late to put up anything to prevent it and she collapsed to the ground, her eyes now closed.
"Well done, Casper. It seems you used your great abilities to good use. Even against your sister." James said approvingly with a smirk on his handsome face.
"Is she gonna be ok?" Casper asked and for the first time feeling concerned about his sister.
"Yes, she'll be fine. She'll wake up in a few hours." James said.
Casper was led out of the room and into a guest bedroom where he slept.
He dreamt about the Moonstone.
