Selene was exhausted from running. She was yet so slim, had long strong legs, and she was heathy. So yet, why couldn't she have ran further?
"Oh thank God they're gone." She said out of breath.
"How tired are you from running on a scale of 1 to 10?" Cole asked as a joke.
"1,000." Selene answered, groaning and then she sat down.
Jason was lying down, but he soon bolted upright." What are we going to do?"
"Well, for now we're going to rest, I guess?" Asher answered.
Selene agreed with Asher. She was tired, out of breath, and she didn't even want to move.
I bet I could sleep right about now if everyone was quiet enough, Selene thought.
But a part of her wanted to fight out all of her anger, channel it into her enemies, but the problem was that they hadn't met the enemy yet. Selene sat up. "I'm going to go to a part of the forest where I can train. Anyone want to come with me?"
"I will," Cole said.
"Wait, isn't splitting up a bit, okay, a lot risky?" Arabella asked, a worried look written on her face.
"We'll be fine." Cole said, gesturing with his hand.
"Alright, if that's it lets go." Selene said to Cole and started to run forward.
Selene felt as if she was walking on water. But that feeling didn't last for long, because soon she wind brushed against her face.
It was arrow.
"Cole, turn-" Selene started to say, but a hand that want her own flew over her mouth.
She struggled to break free of her kidnapper, but it was no use.
"Ah, you did well Casper. You've kidnapped her. Now Blair, put a bag over her head."
Selene started to protest, but a bag was put over her head and before she found out anything else, the world went to a dim black.
What do I do now?
This was her last thought.
