Asher had a pretty normal life. He lived in Charleston West Virginia and had a brother at the age of seven who looked just like him. His mom had hazel eyes and jet black hair while his father had clear blue eyes and blonde hair. Asher never questioned that his parents didn't look anything like him, and that his brother, Jason did.
It was a searing hot Thursday and after school Asher had to practice tennis with his brother. They both played the racket handling sport, but even in the late summer heat it was painful to play.
"I'll serve first." Asher told Jason as he threw the ball into the air.
"Wait! Asher look up!" Jason cried like a small child when they wanted something.
Asher in fact looked up and he swore he saw a white dot in the sky, and it wasn't a cloud. His almost black brown shaggy hair stuck to his face with sweat, and went into his ice blue eyes. "What is that?" He whispered and shielded his eyes from the sun.
His outfit luckily was an athletic t shirt that said "Cloud 9" and his shorts were white with cloud blue accents, along with his Converse shoes matching the assemble.
"What do you think that is?" Jason asked in a childish voice.
Asher shrugged in reply not knowing what to say.
Because something was off about that white dot in the sky.
And it wasn't a cloud.Later at about nine thirty Asher heard a knock on his door as he tried to sleep.
"What is it?" He groggily muttered and shoved his pillow over his head.
Jason opened the door and walked into Asher's bedroom, his clothes still on."We need to check out the white light that we saw earlier. Or we at least should try."
Asher didn't have time for this crap. He wondered if he'd even saw that stupid white light today, or if was just an illusion."I'm not getting up, plus you'll wake mom and dad up too."
"Come on," Jason begged in the darkness."please?"
Asher knew Jason was giving him 'the look', and with 'the look' Jason could bribe his way into getting what he wanted.
Asher grumbled, grabbed his glasses from his nightstand and got out of bed, in his PJs.
Jason gave his brother a look of disapproval. "Asher, Asher, Asher, you should really change out of those kiddie PJs."
Asher cursed under his breath and ran to his bathroom. He quickly change into his clothes before Jason could do any damage to his room.
"Alright, let's go." Asher sighed, motioning for his obnoxious brother to follow him.
Soon enough they were outside and the wind was blowing, and at a strong rate.
But why?
"Asher, what's happening?!!!!" Jason screamed as he tried to plant his feet to the ground.
Asher focused on what was above him ,and there was a white light. Along with a voice.
"Asher you aren't a Silver, but your brother is.This means you carry two Elements, but the only one we know you posses is Air. You both shall protect your Elements and stop the Darkness from taking over, this is along with the other Elemental. We will explain more later." The strong, sturdy, silk like voice said.
Asher started to fell as if he were flying, and than falling.
What's happening to me? Was his last thought before he fell unconscious.
