The Elements

Chapter Fifteen

Casper and Blair had just woken up.
They were in the same place their dream had taken place.
But this was real.
"Well, now this is weird. Where's Boston, Massachusetts?" Blair asked, clearly annoyed.
"We gotta find the Moonstone, but where?" Casper wondered aloud, a sharp edge to his voice.
He looked around, unsure of what to do.
Soon to the siblings' surprise, guards in silver armor ran up to them, a mark that matched the one on Lilith's eye.
"Hello, what are you doing?" Casper asked in a sneering tone.
"Were you two sent here by Lilith?" The head solider asked.
"Yes indeed." Casper answered, trying to keep himself together.
"Give your names." The solider demanded.
"I'm Casper and this is my sister Blair." Casper replied, and his sister awkwardly waved.
"I am called Sir Peter James. You can just call me James." The head solider said, nodding.
James's appearance was certainly knightly. His eyes were such a deep blue they looked like sapphires, his dark brown hair looking gorgeous, and his armor was without a scrape. It was either James hadn't fought any battles.....or he was really good at fighting them.
"We're supposed to find the Moonstone. Do you know we're the Silver Ruins are?" Blair asked as they started to walk.
"We can't get to it yet. You two have had no experience with your powers." James said.
"So what do we do?" Casper asked.
James stopped as his soldiers backed away, but not in fear. He pulled out his sword, and he gave the siblings a challenging look.
"You can test out your powers on me," He declared. "I'm an expert swordsman so don't be hard on yourself if you loose. It just means you try harder next time."
Casper nodded as Blair backed away.
"Ok, let's do this," He said, almost snarling.
James took his silver sword out, and he started to attack.
Casper easily defended himself, using the Death Mist.
But James didn't pass out.
"What?" Casper said as James knocked him off his feet, but he quickly got back up.
"I'm immune to the Death Mist," James said, putting the sword back in its case." If it's that easy for you to defend yourself, it's probably the same for Blair too."
Blair produced Death Mist and it killed a nearby bluejay.
"Great," She said, snarling in pleasure.
"Now what to we do?" Casper asked.
"We create an army, learn some more spells, and get the Moonstone." James said.
