" hey bhagwaan " she muttered under her breath as she ripped the saree's a long part for the blouse . she realized her blouse and bra both were wet . She can't wear that so she decided to rip a cloth from the saree and wrap it around her breasts to use it as a blouse .
Anirudh flushed even more from the ripping sound if it was possible . He was lucky that he got a crying baby in his arms to distract himself otherwise his thoughts were getting out of control . He turned his focus to the crying baby . he tried cradle her , he tried pat her back but he failed . it was all new to him .
" bas .....bas beta bas ....aur kitna roogi " he spoke out of concern as her cries were getting out of hands .
" layiye mujhe dijiye isse ....pata nahi kitni jor se bhook lagi hai " she came out of the so called barrier of the cloth , in a blue cotton saree loosely wrapped around her . His heart came to his mouth seeing her shoulders bare .
He handed the baby to her still in the daze state . In the soft glow of flickering lantern light, the ambiance of the room shifted, casting enchanting shadows that danced across the walls like silent whispers. she was a vision that stole the breath from his lungs. The flickering flames played upon her skin, casting mesmerizing shadows that danced across her delicate features. Her cheeks held a subtle flush, kissed by the warm light, and her hazel eyes sparkled with an inner fire that drew him in like a moth to a flame.
What captivated him more is the affection she showed to the little unknown girl in her arms . The crying baby miraculously fell silent when she rocked her in her lap . She made happy faces to grab the attention of the baby . Seeing it as an opportunity she took some small amount of the kheer she made and fed her .
A strand of her hair fell across her forehead, catching the light in its silky strands and casting a halo of radiance around her. As she reached up to tuck it behind her ear, the movement revealed the graceful arc of her neck, adorned with a delicate chain that seemed to shimmer in rhythm with the lantern's flicker. Her smile had more shine than the sun as it radiated in the faint light .The warmth of her smile washed over him like a gentle tide, filling him with a sense of warmth and contentment that he had never known before.
In that moment, he was lost in a sea of emotions, swept away by the currents of warmth and longing. It was as if the world around them faded into insignificance, leaving only her and him, bound together by the invisible threads of fate.
" aap ek kaam kyun nahi karte , wahan thodi kheer bachi hai aap kha lijiye . subah se kuch nahi khaya hoga aap ne " Her voice made him come out of his thoughts .
" tum pehle isse khila do , bohot ro rahi thi ....kya pata thoda aur khae . hum apni bhook sambhal sakte hain par yeh to nahi sambhal sakti na " he spoke softly looking at the baby.
" bachhi hai kuaa nahi jo itna khaegi " she said with a giggle earning a glare from him . " matlab ...abhi itna hi khaegi ...iske liye maine alag se rakh liya raat ko khila kar sula dungi isse . aap ..a-aap khaa lijiye " she fumbled getting nervous under his glare .
He studied her skeptically then got up to fetch his food .
He looked back and forth at the bamboo bed and her . She was cradling the baby in her arms happily as she finally stopped crying and cooing gleefully .
" umm....tum upar so jao main neeche so jaunga " he hesitantly expressed .
" han fir apni peeth bhi akadwa lunga " Her voice dripped with sarcasm .
He rested his hands on his waist , annoyed with her . " tumhari problem kya hai ? sirf 6 saal bada hun tumse 600 saal bada nahi hun jo tum hamesha tana maaarti rehti ho meri umar ko lekar "
