" Tum kahin jaa rahi ho? " Anirudh asked from behind when he entered his room and saw her packing bags.

Her back went stiff listening to his tone which he didn't realise. He raised an eyebrow when she didn't turn to him. He went to her and stood behind her, looking over what she was packing in the bags.

He rested his hands on her shoulders, rubbing slow circles on them and then resting his chin upon her left shoulder.

" Honeymoon ki jagah decide karli? To sirf apne kapde kyun pack kar rahi ho. Akele honeymoon pe koi nahi jaata. " He joked but she didn't even react to it.

" Main honeymoon pe nahi jaa rahi" she whispered in such a low voice that if he wasn't near her he wouldn't have heard it.

Something was wrong, very wrong. He could feel it in his bones.

" Kahan jaa rahi ho tum? " He took some steps back giving her space.

She breathed in the heavy air and forced herself to not shed a tear and don't let him know that her heart was breaking apart in her chest creating a pain that wanted her to die. But she couldn't actually hide the pain in the voice either even if she tried hard.

" Ek case mila hai " she said in her weakest tone, finally turning to him with a smile that didn't reach her eyes. His face was morphed into worry instead of being happy. " Mujhe uss case ke silsile mein delhi jana padega ... maine Mohit se baat ki hai. Usi ke sath jaungi aur phir kaam hone ke baad wapas aa jaungi. Agar aap permission de toh "

He looked over the packed suitcase and she clearly didn't need his permission as she has already set her mind . But he had a feeling that it is not about any case rather it is something else which was eating her from inside. He felt sad over the fact that she didn't trust him enough to say what's troubling her.

" Mujhse puch ne ki kya jarurat hai? Tumhara jahan mann kare tum jaa sakti ho. " He said in a soft tone that made her bottom lip wobble .

" Mujhe laga aap-"

" Mujhe koi safai dene ki jarurat nahi hai Bondita. Mujhe tum par bharosa hai. Agar tum kaam ki wajah se ya kisi aur wajah se bhi jaa rahi ho toh its okay. Tumhe mujhse permission maangne ki jarurat nahi hai. " He said giving a gentle squeeze on her shoulders. " Bas thoda koshish karna jaldi aane ki. Hmmm. Mujhe aadat nahi hai tumhare bina rehne ki. " He gave her a small smile and open his arms, calling her over to embrace.

Her gaze danced between him and his arms and her eyes teared up on their own. She felt the knot in her chest tightening and yet she couldn't help but feel the longing for his embrace.

And easily fall into his arms.

" Bhaag mat jana mujhe chod kar....... pata chala ki meri saanse hi na kahi band ho gayi " he patted her head as she tightened her grip around his waist.

She didn't have the heart to tell him that she didn't know whether she's coming back or not.

.....,.....

" Khana, dawai sab time se khana han. Please vitamins ki dawai mat bhulna. Maine kuch sanitary napkins bhi rakhe hai, mujhe laga jarurat hogi . Tumhare dates aas paas hai aur bahar ka khana jyada mat khana thik hai " Anirudh trailed off the list of warning to her with what to do or not.

Her heart was warmed enough by his caring but not enough to heal the cracks in her heart.

" Bacchi nahi hu main " she said not above than a whisper.

He chuckled and took her face in his hands and dropped a softest kiss on her forehead. She closed her eyes to feel the warmth of his lips on her skin a little longer not believing if she'd get it ever again.
