Chapter 60

Anirudh returns to home after one hour and saw everyone has returned to their respective room except one person. His sleepyhead was soundly sleeping on the couch with her mouth slightly open and she was snoring too. He shook his head and wondered how the 9 year old was stuck in a grown woman' s body .

He went to her with agonizing speed and looked over her peaceful sleeping face. Some of her trendils were bothering her. He gently pushed those tendrils away from her face and tucked it behind her ear. She shifted feeling his touch on her cheek but didn't recover from her deep sleep. He chuckled seeing the trail of drool coming out of her mouth like a baby. Well it's time to carry his baby to back to their room.

Slipping his one arm under her knees and shifting another to the small of her back he carefully lifted her in his arms. Bondita was so deep in sleep that she didn't waste a second to snuggle in his shoulder. He loved it whenever she subconsciously came close to him because in reality she's running away from him after he's finally starting to show his side which she longed for.

" Offo Bondita....kab tum mere dil ki bechaini samjhogi. Jab bhi baat aage badhane ki koshish karta hun tab tum bhaag jaati ho. I love you sun na hai ki nahi madam " he murmured in her ear playfully and she slept like a log in his arms not caring about a single word he uttered.

But maybe some part of her heart was listening to his rants so she shifted in his arms, adjusting her head on his shoulder whispering against his neck " I love you too "

His foot halted on the stairs step as he looked down at her serene sleeping face. His breathing stopped like his heartbeat. His soul might have come out of his body to rewind this moment again and listen to those he was dying to hear.

And she said it just like that.

He came to his senses and held her a little bit tight, feeling her softness against him , savoring those overwhelming happiness that bubble up in his heart listening to those words. He was feeling hard to believe that he was truly loved by a woman and a woman like her.

She came to his life as a blessing when he was believing that his every breath was a curse. He felt trapped in his own body, silently begging to God to kill him as every passing day was killing him. And the day she crashed into him maybe his soul came back with a warning from god that he have to live. If not for himself then for the girl sleeping in his arms.

He pushed the traces out of her forehead and wiped the drop of tear that landed on her left cheek. He carefully tucked the blanket and adjusted the pillow behind her neck. Then he came to realise his own eyes were wet with gratefulness and unconditional love that he felt for his woman. He wiped them but the damn pearl drops descended down his cheeks .

" Main kabhi tumhare pyaar ki barabari nahi kar sakta aur shayad hi kabhi kar paunga. Par itna jaanta hun ki agar maine sabse jyada pyaar kisise kiya hai to wo tum ho. " He whispered earnestly.

" Mujhe khud nahi pata tha ki mujh mein itna pyaar bhara hua hai tumhe dene ke liye...par fir dimag mein aaya ye pyaar bhi tumhari den hai. Pyaar par se bharosa uth gaya tha mera.... naam tak se ghinn hone lagi thi. Par ab? ... tumhe dekhne ke liye meri najrein sirf ek hi ehsaas bayaan karti hai jo hai sirf aur sirf... pyaar. "

Taking her hand, placing a soft kiss on it he continued. " Koi itni shiddat se pyaar kaise kar sakta hai Bondita? 8 saal ka intezar asaan nahi hai. Ek tarfa pyaar asaan nahi hai. Aur ye jaante hue bhi uss insaan se pyaar karna jo ki pehle se hi kisi aur ka hai...ye to sarasad namumkin hai. " Now the tear drops made it's way to her hand, painting it with wetness.

" Aisa pyaar kisi insaan ke liye hona... namumkin hai. Par tumne kiya...wo bhi mujhse. Jis bhagwan ko main maanta tak nahi tha unhone meri unsuni duaaon ka jawab tumhe dekar diya hai.
