Coraline followed her sister and Dillon to the school, stopping just when they stopped, both looking in different directions.

She was sure that her sister was looking at Gabby, the explosions of colours and the music playing in the background.

She was looking at AJ, no explosions of colours, no music, only the fluttery feeling in her brain and her eyes glued to the girl skating by.

"Hi Cora." She smiled at her, and Coraline nearly fainted.

"Hi AJ!" She jogged to catch up to her, smiling brightly at her.

"Did you study for biology?" The brunette asked, Coraline merely grinning and giving her a thumbs up.

"Probably!"

"I swear to god." She rolled her eyes, walking to Coraline's locker, which was closer than hers.

"I'll help you during break." Coraline kissed her cheek, AJ opening her locker for her and placing her skateboard inside, along with some of her books, and Coraline placed hers on the second shelf she had put in herself.

She looked at herself in the mirror, touching up her eyeliner a bit before finally closing it, walking away with AJ to Gabby.

"Hey Gabs! Survive your weekend with the grump?" Gabby smirked at her sister as she answered.

"Sure did, can't wait for you to take her off of my hands." Coraline smiled at AJ's glare, cupping her face and looking down at her.

"No worries baby, i'll take good care of you whilst that monster is away." She glanced at Gabby as she said it, AJ cracking a smile.

"How dare you!"

"I can see that the divorce went well?" Stacey asked, glancing between the two.

Coraline moved to stand besides AJ, wrapping her arms around her waist and smiling at Stacey.

"Swimmingly."

"Amazing even."

"Help me." AJ reached out to Stacey, a deadpan expression on her face, Coraline gasping.

"I'll sue for slander! What did you teach her!" She pointed at Gabby, who merely shrugged and turned to the couple.

"Are you coming out later?" Coraline watched her sister stammer awkwardly, placing her chin on top of AJ's head.

"She means track dumbass." Paige shot her a glare, and she could feel AJ tense up.

What.

"Let's go AJ." She grabbed AJ's hand, intertwining their fingers as she tugged her along, catching her subtly eyeing Paige.

"Please don't get with my sister." AJ looked at her with wide eyes, frantically shaking her head.

"I won't! I swear i won't! I- I don't even like her like that why would you think-? Does she think that? Cause it's not true at all why would you say that?" She rambled, and Coraline felt her heart break a bit, looking down at the girl who she has had a crush on for a pretty long time now.

"Yeah... sure, let's go babe."

-

"Paige? Track? Am i dreaming?" Coraline only didn't rub her eyes because of her make-up, but she did lean on AJ's shoulders and widen her eyes.

"Do you see this?" She asked AJ, leaning with her arms over her shoulders, so her head was besides hers.

"Yes, i see this Cora, no need to yell." AJ rolled her eyes, and Coraline gasped.
