"So, like, why are you the only one with coloured hair?" Valentina smiled, pressing her pointer finger against her lips.

"That's a secret!" She giggled, walking backwards towards their lunch table.

"Can we guess?" Carlos piped up, Evie smiling at him.

"Guess away!" The green haired girl's smile brightened, guiding them through the gardens to a nice spot to eat lunch.

Well, she was, but Audrey called out to her.

"Val!" The fairy looked up, smiling at the girl.

"I need your help, my bracelet broke." Valentina's mouth fell into an O shape, then quickly waved her hand around it, fixing the beading in a cloud of bright green sparkles.

"All good."

"Thanks, bye Val." She eyed the VK's before leaving, Valentina continuing her tour.

"Is it magical?" Carlos guessed, and Valentine turned back around to grin at him, hands behind her back.

"Bingo! My mom's Fauna, I grew up with Audrey! That's why she comes to me for these things... i'm also a royal observer, which means I sit with the king as he listens to his guests and their demands, and advice him on how to move forwards! Which is almost the same as a royal advisor, but royal advisors can talk with the guests, and I'm only allowed to tell Ben my advice." They stopped by a tree that offered some shade from the sun once she finished.

"And this is the spot I thought you'd like, I know you've been here for a month already, but I think you'll frequent it after today." She looked over the VK's, Carlos falling down onto the grass with Jay in tow, fighting over a spot.

"And?" Valentina nudged Evie when Mal had sat down too.

"It's amazing... but I just made this dress." Valentina's smile dimmed a bit, but she held out her hand and swept it across the air in front of them, a white and blue checkered cloth now under the group so they wouldn't have to sit on the grass.

"Aw, thank you V! You're amazing!" Evie kissed her cheek, and Valentina turned away to hide her flushed face.

"Y-yeah, i'm gonna go- help Ben! Yeah! Ben!" She rushed off, Mal snickering at the interaction.

"Hi!" Valentina waved at the boy in her doorpost with a smile, surrounded by hectic swirls of green.

"Uh... are you okay?" Jay asked, popping up behind Carlos.

"No actually! I just saw the literal love of my life kiss some low life scum!" She smiled brightly, which made her words very disturbing to the VK's.

"Right, i'm getting Mal." Jay dashed away, towards the dorm at the other end of the hall.

"Okay, let's rewind. Who did he kiss?" Carlos slowly crept towards her, flinching back when her magic would lash out outwards.

"She kissed some dwarf! And not even one of the hot ones! The ugly one! Like just take Sleepy's son? He's a total smokeshow! But obviously she should go for the dumbest, ugliest freakshow out there! I wear glasses! Why did she think they suddenly look good on him? I mean if she finds them so adorable I'M RIGHT HERE! He doesn't even have magic! He's just some ordinary short guy without even a share of his family's jewel business! At least i'm apart of the royal court!" She seemed ready to continue her rant, Carlos had given up on getting closer, when Mal appeared with Jay.

"Okay. Valentina. You have to calm down and tell me what happened so you won't lash out again." Mal looked into her eyes, those black voids that seemed to be able to pull anything in and pulverise it.
