(Joe's pov)
Demi rubbed her eyes and stretched. "good morning mommy." Brooklyn said to Demi the next morning. I put Haven over my shoulder and smiled. "Good morning baby." she said to Brooklyn. "all 3 of them." she added.
I leaned down and kissed her and placed Haven's small body in my 2 hands and Demi sat up to kiss her. "wow, 4 months old." Demi said.
I nodded. "Before we know it our babies will be having babies." she said with chuckle. my face stayed straight. "Not funny Demi." I said. She rolled her eyes with a smirk.
"You want to take the girls out for some breakfast or something?" I asked her. I was really just wanted some family time. She nodded.
(Selena's pov)
I'm so scared. Today is my first day of chemo and I feel like I'm dying. Tomorrow I'm going to look at wigs with Nick.
I pulled my phone out and opened the front camera. I stared at myself. "you okay?" nick asked. I nodded and ran my fingers through my dark locks of hair. "Yeah, I'll just miss it." I said. I have such beautiful dark brown hair. Soon it'll all be gone.
Dr. Jean walked in. "Worried about her hair?" she asked me with a joke. I nodded and blushed. "a little." I said.
Nick squeezed my hand. "Don't take this the wrong way," Dr. Jean started, "but by time you get started with chemo, you'll be worried about WAY more than your hair. Your hair won't even seem important to you." she said.
I took a deep breath. This is going to be a long 9 months.
(Demi's pov)
I leaned over and kissed Joe as we sat at iHop. "We should do something with the kids today." I told him. I watched as Brooklyn ate her cut up pancakes and eggs and Haven laid in her seat asleep.
"Like what?" Joe asked. I shrugged. "I don't know I just know we never do anything as a family. We could go the beach, or Disneyland, or skyzone." I suggested.
Joe took his phone out and looked at the weather. "It's supposed to get up to 91 today. I think a day at the beach sounds good." Joe said.
"The beach it is then." I told him.
