Selena's pov
"Demi, I just want to apologize for being so distant the few months I was going through chemo and stuff." I told Demi at lunch 3 months after I found out I was clean.

"Don't even worry about sel. I'm just glad we're back to hanging out." she said me to me. "Awesome! So I have some news." I told her. "Really? Me too!" Demi said.

"Okay you first." she told me. "Alright just, so nick and I have been trying to start a family. And now I'm pregnant!"

"Congratulations sel!" Demi said hugging me tightly. "I know Dem. I'm so excited! I can't wait for you to just be there, and go with me through everything. Just like I did for Brooke and Haven." I told her excitedly.

Her smile vanished. "Wow Sel.. That um, kind of makes what I had to tell you harder." she told me.

"What is it?" I asked blankly. I was really worried. I hoped she didn't have cancer too!

"Sel.. I'm moving." she told me. I swallowed hard. "Where to?" I asked her. "Dallas. Brooke has been getting really serious in dance. It's just easier to be closer to it than driving 30 minutes to and from everyday." she said.

I stood up and walked away. I got in my car and drove. After everything we've been through together, she's deciding to leave.

3 years later

Demi and Joe moved to Dallas right behind DDC so that Brooke (a/n: since Brooklyn is getting older, she's going by Brooke now) could have a better dance career. They also enrolled Haven in classes. Selena never forgave Demi for leaving.

Brooke is now 8 years old, and is one of the best students at DDC. She's trained in ballet, tap, hip hip, lyrical, contemporary, aerial, acrobatics, tumbling, and jazz.

Haven is 4 and just starting to be trained in everything that Brooke is too. No one knows yet, but Nadean is planning on asking the girls to join her competition team.

Selena and Nick moved to Arlington because there was nothing keeping them in Grand Prairie. Plus nick got a fabulous new job.

They had a beautiful babyboy. His name is Travis Nicholas Jonas. (Travie or Trav for short) he was 10 pounds and 4 ounces. And 22 inches long. He's now 3 years old.

So now that you're caught up, enjoy.

Demi's pov

"So what're your plans for today?" Joe asked grabbing taking a sip of his morning coffee.

Haven was sitting at the table sipping her fruit smoothie for breakfast as I was trying to put her hair up for dance. "Same as always. Dance." I told him. "Haven would you stay still!" I griped brushing her hair.

"But it hurts mommy." Haven whined. "Try holding your breath. It helps." Brooke told her putting her empty cup in the sink.

"dance dance dance." Joe said laughing. "What time is it?" I asked Joe. "7:21." he answered. "Damnit!" I yelled. "Girls hurry were late!" I yelled.

Everyone in the house rushed. Joe grabbed the girls' dance bags and took them to the car, Haven finished her breakfast, and I rushed to help Brooke get her tights on and her spandex over them.

"Sorry Nadean!" the girls said rushing into the studio. "Goodness, I was beginning to wonder where you girls were." she chuckled. "Why don't you guys stretch and let me have a little chat with your mom for a minute." she told the girls.

The girls nodded and Brooke headed to the ballet room and Haven headed to acro. "I'm sorry I was late. The girls had a school thing last night. It was a late morning, and I really ran a little late." I apologized.

"I understand that completely. It's tough with 2 kids, school, and dance. Juggling a lot." Nadean said. "Oh I'm so glad you understand," I said back thankfully.

"It would be so much easier for us both if you just took them out of school." Nadean said to me. I blinked unsure of what she just said. "Excuse me what?"

She chuckled. "This was what I wanted to talk to you about. Your girls are getting the age that they're old enough to be on my competition team. And I think they could really benefit from the performing somewhere other than our yearly recitals." Nadean told me.

My heart was telling me yes, but life was telling me no. "How would it work?  The girls have school, and singing lessons, and we practically live dance now?" I said.

"I understand. Most moms just start homeschooling their girls. But my competitive team is so successful. And I only ask girls that I see potential in. Think about it." Nadean said to me as she entered the studio.
