Gisele grabbed her bag and keys, ran out of her room and towards the front door when she stopped, turned around and saw Derek standing by the island. Making her way over to him.

"You met the president and didn't call me. You know how much I love Obama."

He pulled his phone out, scrolled through it for moment before handing it to her. She pressed play and watched as the presidents face appeared on the screen, "Hello Gisele..."

She squealed in excitement and paused the video before throwing herself into his arms, "Thank you big brother."

He chuckled, "I wouldn't forget about you."

After the video finished, she handed the phone back to her brother, "You're the best."

"Does that make me your favorite now?" He jokingly asked already know the answer would be no.

"Sorry. I'm going to the mall to get me and Lia some vegan shaved snow."

"What is that?" He asked.

"It's like ice cream but had the consistency of shaved ice." She explained as she walked out the door.

Once Amelia finished closing the patient, they transferred him onto gurney before telling the nurses to take him to the ICU. She yanked off her mask before opening the door only to see her brother, "When did you get here?"

"As soon as I found out. Are you okay?" Derek asked as they walked into the scrub room.

"I'm fine." Amelia said.

"You want to switch out?" He asked again:

"No." She stated firmly, growing annoyed with him. She quickly turned the water in and began scrubbing.

"You want to switch out?" He asked once more.

She rolled her eyes, "Derek, you want me to take over your service, Let me take over your service. Next patient, please."

He nodded before looking down and reading off his tablet, "A 26-year-old left frontoparietal subdural hematoma. Burr hole's not gonna do this, so what you're gonna need to do-"

She cut him off, "I'll see when I get in there." She said as she dried her hands and walked toward the OR.

"Oh, how was your vegan shaved ice?"

She turned and shot his a confused look, "Isn't shaved ice already vegan?"

"No, it's ice cream in shaved ice consistency... didn't Gigi bring you some this morning?"

Amelia shook her head, "No, I've been in surgeries all morning," she saw the panic in his eyes and began to worry, "What's wrong?"

He ran his hands through his hair, "Gisele went to the mall for shaved ice."

A chill ran down her spine, "You're kidding."

He took a deep breath to calm his nerves, "She went early so she's probably here... I'll try her phone and tell you if she picks up." He told Amelia before walking out into he hall and pulling his phone out, dialing his sister's number.

"Hey it's Gisele, if I don't pick up I'm probably too busy having an adventure to answer so leave..."

Derek frustratedly hung up and thought he'd go down to the pit to see if his sister was there.

After checking in the pit and coming up with nothing, he decided to look in the OR's. He was speaking with one of the scrub nurses when Cristina came up to him.
