Food might've been a good approach today. But I could barely touch a thing and now I surely didn't have time to. I felt nauseous but excited, I wasn't nervous, I didn't doubt a thing.

The gown, the gown of all gowns. The chiffon laced one that I'd be marrying my best friend in, was on my body. I was about thirty minutes away from walking down an isle and slightly terrified.

I still hadn't really spoken to my father in a bit. Him and my Mom had divorced and he was gone. He hadn't contacted me after stating his need for space after the separation. My Mom filed taking him by surprise and now it's been a year and two months since I'd seen him.

He wouldn't be someone to ruin today, he didn't know today was happening. I was free of someone who never fully cared enough to stay around and kept disappointing my Mother towards the end.

My train on my dress was longer than most, but it's the one thing I adored. It was custom for me, some designer Adonis hired after seeing my old sketches of dresses from middle school.

I told him it was nonsense, but he disagreed wanting every aspect of today to be perfect.

Today is November 17th, the day that me and Adonis Ambrose would be married. My last day with the name Casey and first day with the name Ambrose.

The reception would be taking place at an art gallery. One where in a certain room with all the doors closed and laying back on a couch. You can see the stars and constellations, my future husband happens to be the owner of it.

"Pearls" Beside me stood my Mom, she held a little black box. Opening them were two gorgeous pearl earrings, "I wore them, your grandmother wore them and than your great grandmother. So you'll wear them as well" I smiled at the beautiful gem, they never tarnish.

Pearls are something that hundreds of years could go by and they'll remain the same. My Mom lifts them to my ear and snaps them in as I look into the mirror.

"There gorgeous Mom" A kiss is pressed against my cheek and she pats my shoulders.

"Not as gorgeous as you are today sweetheart" A slight squeal is heard and as I look over Kennedy stood impatiently in her bridesmaid dress.

"No way, no way!" She jumps slightly behind her came Kimberly. I turned to see the two of them as they graciously pulled me in tight for a hug.

"Can me and Kimberly have the room for a moment?" I knew I wanted a moment alone with her. Excusing everyone else it leaves the two of us in a room that looks out over the venue. Chairs laced in rows as people began to fill them. I'm hidden behind two linen curtains but could see the silhouette of everything in the gardens.
