I never asked for this. I never wanted to experience my parents screaming at each other every night, arguing about things that only god knows. I don't know what they were so mad about, I tried to block it out, pressing my head into pillows and drowning out the sorrow with Ed Sheeran music. But I definitely didn't want to move to San Francisco with my mom for a "break", as she called it. She just got a new job working at an event with guys that are famous on social medias and stuff.

When she told me about this new job, I was unfamiliar with this subject. "Who's in it?" I had blurted out after she was done explaining. Her arms were folded and she was tensed up in a big chair in our kitchen.

"Well, there are quite a few of them." She started out with. I immediately got nervous because I'm not too good with being social with new people. "There are about 9 boys, with some extras." I nodded to show my understanding while also trying to hide my fear. "Nash Grier is kind of the ring leader." She showed me pictures of each of the boys as she explained them. "He has stunning blue eyes and a great sense of humor." She was right, the icy blueness was a bit beautiful. "Cameron Dallas is probably Nash's best friend and he has brown eyes." He was flat-out gorgeous, tall with muscles. My mom was moving along quickly. "Aaron Carpenter is the one with the longer hair. Taylor Caniff is the one with the bandanas." They were okay looking, just not my type, I guess. "Matthew Espinosa has dirty blonde hair and he's really funny too. You'll like him." She said while looking at me. "Then we have Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky, who are best friends since kindergarten. Blonde is Jack J, and dark brown is Jack G." she explained. "Carter Reynolds is the one wearing hats." This was a lot to take in. "Oh, and Hayes Grier is Nash's brother who comes as well." He was hot too, just like his brother. I could see that they were brothers. "Mahogany LOX is the only girl there, so you might as well make friends with her." My mom laughed at her own joke and I chuckled awkwardly.

"Oh! How could I forget Shawn Mendes?" she exclaimed and showed me a picture of him. He had wavy brown hair and beautiful eyes. He was tall and muscular just like most of the guys, but looked kinder.
"Whoa." I said. I quickly covered my mouth and blushed. My mom winked at me.
"He's 15, just like you."
