  ALLI'S POV:

We had come back from the hotel and I had enough time to get take a cab back to my house.
The cab dropped me off at my house. "Thank you!" I tossed the driver some money and ran inside my house. I darted up the stairs. But something caught my eye. I ran backwards down the stairs. A note sat alone on our table. "Dad?" I called while looking around the house. I carefully approached the note as if it was a time bomb.

I slowly picked it up and read it. The paper was dry and wrinkled.

Girls,
Please don't worry about me. I'm gone and I don't think I'm coming back. I needed space. Everything in this house reminds me of her. I can't even look at you girls because you look like her. It haunts me. So I left.
I know that you will probably hate me for this. And I'm sorry. Victoria, you can go back to London and live peacefully. Allison, you can tour the world with your friends. Just please don't try to find me.

~Dad

I dropped the note with my shaky hands. Tears pooled in my eyes. He left us here to fend for ourselves. The only one I had left...left. I closed my eyes and took deep breaths. In, out. In, out. I kept this mantra for a steady 3 minutes before I forced myself upstairs to get ready.

I was going on a date with the sweetest boy ever and I was going to love it. Whatever he had planned.

I changed my clothes and straightened my hair. I put on some more makeup. I sat on my bed in nice clothes and full face of makeup. It's time to face the music. No more crying or grieving because there is no reason to. But I will have to tell Tori at some point. I just shook that off and ran back down the stairs, trying my hardest to ignore the dreadful note.

I waited by the door until I saw Shawn's car pull up. I inhaled heavily and waited for the familiar ring of the doorbell. It rung. I opened the door with a weak smile. "Hi." I said to him.
He was wearing a black leather jacket, a blue v-neck and jeans. And he looked damn good.

"Hey." He flashed me a smile. Then that faltered. Crap. He knows me too well. He knows when something's wrong. "What is it? What's wrong?" He asked, sudden concern lacing his voice.
"Nothing." I lied. I smiled for real now. "Let's go." I linked my arm through the crook of his elbow.

We walked to his car and got in. "Now. Where are we going for our date?" I asked him. I was half expecting him not to answer.
"That's a surprise." He wagged a finger in my face. He had this little smirk on his face.
"Figures." I grumbled. "You are so difficult." I told him.

"Yeah I've noticed. But I'm still not telling you!" He insisted. This went on for a while and he ended up not telling me. I folded my arms and leaned against the window. "Almost there." He muttered.

The car finally halted to a stop outside a park. It was dark by now and a little hard to see. I turned to Shawn. "Where are we?" I asked, quite confused and bewildered. He smirked and winked at me before climbing out of the car.
"Before we continue, you need to put this on." He held up a blindfold. I stared at it.

After a moment, I finally spoke. "Are you going to murder me?" I asked. "This definitely qualifies as a murdering situation." I analyzed.
He looked takes aback. His eyes were wide. "N-no. Why would you-you know what? Never mind. Just do it." He insisted while wrapping it around my head and tying it in the back.

"I'm going to die today." I murmured. "Tell my sister I love her!" I said a little louder, trying to find where Shawn was.
"You're not going to die. Go forward, I'll guide you." He placed both hands on my shoulders. I walked forward with my hands out in front of me, probably walking like a zombie.

We walked for what seemed like hours while Shawn was directing my with simple "go left now." and "not too far!"
I suddenly felt something rough. I patted around the surface for a second. "That's a tree." I told Shawn.
"Yes, I see it. Keep going." I groaned at his short answers.

"We're here!" He finally shouted. I released a puff of breath.
"Oh good lord. I was so sure you were a killer." He slowly untied the blindfold. "This thing stinks." I said. He just laughed at me. When he removed it, my mouth fell open and my eyes bulged.

A little closed off section in the park was decorated with little gold lights and a red blanket with a picnic basket sitting in it. I gasped and placed a hand over my mouth. I whirled around to face Shawn. He was smiling really big. "You did all this?" I asked. He nodded.
"It hasn't even begun." He teased and grabbed my hand in his larger ones. I followed him over to the blanket and we sat down.

He pulled out some of my favorite foods. "No way." I said. Peanut butter and jelly, chocolate covered strawberries and root beer. "How did you know?" I asked him.

He just shrugged. "I have my sources. Shall we?" He said while gesturing to the food. (A/N: OMG Imagination just came on as I was writing this. Too perfect.)

We had so much fun. I didn't know that Shawn could be so romantic and thoughtful. We had finished the sandwiches and root beers. I picked up a strawberry and ate it. "This is amazing. You're amazing. Everything right now is perfect." I rambled.
There was one strawberry left. "You can have it." I told Shawn. He shook his head.
"No, you have it." He insisted.
"You organized this all! You deserve it." I told him. Logic is my best option.

"Maybe that is the best strawberry ever." He said while smirking. I gave the most I-can't-believe-you-said-that look.
"Don't go quoting High School Musical on me! Seriously? Really?" I laughed at him and took the strawberry. I ate it. "You were right. It was perfect because you are here." I said.

That was probably the best date of my life.

A/N: awwww okay I'm sorry for that high school musical moment. Okay byeeee🎬
