"I-I'm not sure about this." Jason said, feeling awkward as he and Piper were walking around the mall, looking for where Piper's friend was.
"Jase, Leo is like family to me. I met your sister and your dorky cousin, so now I want you to meet my dorky brother-figure." Piper smiled at her boyfriend.
Piper's arm was interlocked with Jason's. A lot of people were staring at Piper as they walked by and Jason hated it. Her dad was a famous actor, and it didn't help that Piper herself was so beautiful. Jason also didn't like it when people were staring at him. It made him feel like he was being judged and-
"Ay! Leo!"
Jason snapped out of his thoughts as Piper let go of his arm and ran up to a Latino male who was... incredibly short. Piper and Leo seemed to instantly chat, Leo whistled at Piper, praising how she looked as Piper punched Leo playfully in the shoulder.
Jason made his way over and he stared at Leo. Leo looked up and he smiled at Jason.
"Hola señor!" Leo grinned at Jason.
"Uh-" Jason looked at Piper.
"Leo's more fluent in Spanish, but don't worry, he knows English." Piper said.
Jason smiled at Leo.
"Hi, it's nice to meet you." Jason placed his hand out.
"Jason Grace."
Leo took Jason's hand.
"Nice to meet you too!" Leo exclaimed, shaking Jason's hand.
"Leo Valdez."
Jason sort of blinked as his insides began to feel weird. Leo had a bit of an accent and Jason felt... not attracted, but attracted, towards the way Leo sounded.
Leo took his hand away and he smiled at Piper.
"You got good taste in men, Pipes!" Leo exclaimed.
"This guy is actually quite cute!"
Jason's stomach churned and Leo grinned at Jason, playfully winking at him.
"Alright, quit being like that." Piper rolled her eyes.
"Let's start this shopping spree!"
Piper instantly walked off, heading towards a clothing store. Jason let out a sigh and he followed behind Piper. Leo followed alongside Jason, his hands in his pockets.
Well... this was going to be fun.
