Jason sighed to himself, adjusting his glasses as he got up from his desk once he heard a knock on his front door. He wasn't expecting anyone, or a package, anything really. So who could be at his door?
Jason quickly left his room and made his way to the front door. He unlocked the door and he opened it.
"Hello-" Jason began.
Jason blinked as he looked down to see Leo at his front door. Jason furrowed his eyebrows and he frowned as he noticed that Leo's eyes were puffy and red.Leo avoided eye contact, he kept his eyes on the ground and his eyes seemed to well up as he grasped onto the bag strap around his shoulder.
"... I didn't know where else to go." Leo whispered, his voice breaking.
Jason noticed that there were two bags beside where Leo stood."What happened?" Jason asked softly.
Leo's grasp tightened around the bag strap. Jason sighed out.
"Ah, come in first. Come on."
Jason leaned forward and grabbed one of the bags on the ground as Leo grabbed the other one. Jason then stepped out of the way, allowing Leo to enter the apartment. Once Leo was inside, Jason shut and locked his apartment door, placing the bag he held in his hand back down."Put your stuff in my room, you can stay there while I go get you a glass of water." Jason said, looking at Leo who seemed hesitant with taking off his shoes.
"Jase, if I'm bothering you, I can leave-" Leo began to say, looking up at the blonde.
"You could never bother me. Now go, sit tight, I'll be a few moments." Jason cut Leo off, smiling at him softly.
Jason comfortingly rubbed Leo's shoulder for a moment before turning around and leaving Leo alone.
Jason could heard Leo taking off his shoes and the shuffling of his feet as he went to Jason's bedroom.Jason bit his lower lip.
Had Calypso done something to Leo? Did Leo run away? What was going on with him?
Jason sighed to himself and made his way towards the kitchen to get Leo a glass of water. It seemed Piper was right. And Jason had been patient, waiting for Leo to come when he needed help, but... Jason didn't like how depressed Leo looked.
*****
Jason entered his room with a cup of water in his hand and he saw Leo sitting on the edge of his bed, rubbing his arms and staring at the floor with a bitter look on his face.
"Hey." Jason said softly, mostly shutting the door as he walked in.
Leo looked over at Jason who sat down next to him.
"Gracias." Leo said softly, taking the cup of water from Jason once Jason handed it towards him.
Leo fiddled with the cup of water in his hands before taking a sip of it and resting the cup onto the floor.
Jason looked to see the bags Leo brought were on the other side of the room."What happened, mmh?" Jason asked, keeping his voice soft to not make Leo feel any worse.
Leo shuffled in his seat, bringing his legs up onto the bed and crossing them, facing Jason. Jason decided to shuffle about and sit the same way, facing Leo too."Calypso... she... she kicked me out." Leo said, looking at Jason.
"And broke up with me. Had my bags already packed, told me to go as soon as I got home."Jason furrowed his eyebrows.
"She did that?" Jason frowned.
Leo shrugged, rolling his eyes, "She did that."
Leo's eyes began to well up again."... Apparently I'm not worth it anymore." Leo scoffed out, his voice slightly breaking as he looked up at the ceiling, not wanting to see Jason's face full of pity.
Jason reached his hands up and cupped Leo's face, causing Leo to look at him. Leo blinked, a tear rolling down his cheek as Jason gently rubbed Leo's cheeks with his thumbs and wiped away the tear that rolled down Leo's cheek.
