Chapter 12

Leo hummed quietly to himself as he made his way towards the living room to see if Jason was up and about yet.

Leo stopped himself as he saw Jason curled up on the couch, with a blanket wrapped around him, sleeping quietly. Leo tilted his head as he made his way over and crouched down in front of the couch.

Leo looked at Jason, tilting his head at the sleeping male. Leo felt a little bad. He slept on Jason's bed while Jason got stuck with sleeping on the couch, which probably wasn't as comfortable. Leo brought his hand up to Jason's hair. He ran his fingers through Jason's blonde locks. Jason seemed to stir a little but Leo didn't stop running his fingers through Jason's hair. Jason's hair was getting longer, it suited him, made him look cuter.

Jason's face scrunched up as he opened his eyes. Leo's cheeks heated up and he took his hand away from Jason's hair.
"Morning." Leo managed to smile at Jason.
"You didn't have to... you didn't have to sleep on the couch."

Jason rubbed his eyes, smiling slightly as he sat up.
"You went through a lot yesterday, Leo. I was fine letting you sleep in my bed." Jason said, his voice a little raspy.
Leo swore he could hear his heart beat, and it was beating faster than it was before.
"Still..." Leo mumbled.

Jason leaned over and Leo got a little surprised and his breath hitched as Jason seemed to get super close, but Jason then backed away, with his glasses in his hands. Leo watched as Jason cleaned his glasses with his shirt before putting them on.

"You want me to make breakfast?" Jason asked.
"Huh? No, no, it's okay, that's too much-" Leo began.
Leo's stomach growled loudly and Leo felt his cheeks warm up even more from embarrassment.
Jason smiled as he got up. He ruffled Leo's hair.
"It's no problem, Leo. I'll make some scrambled eggs. You relax, put something on the TV."

Jason walked off and Leo watched as Jason made his way to the kitchen, stretching his arms out as he did so.
Leo got up from the floor and sat down onto the couch.

Leo took a deep breath as he reached over for the remote, grabbed it and turned on the TV. He found something to put on and he set the remote aside as he got his phone out from his pocket. Leo blinked as he saw a few messages from Piper.

Heyy! I heard what happened (hope you're not upset with Jason telling me), and I hope you're doing well xx

Cariño💕:
Just was wondering if you'd like to hang out today? Me, you, Shel and Jase. I told Jason about this last night, but he hasn't given me a response yet, and I don't want him to forget so I'm just messaging you just in case :)

Leo🔥:
Hey :)

Leo🔥:
Nah, I could never get upset at Jason. Plus you'd find out sooner or later anyway!! But yeah, I'd like to hang out with you guys today :))

Awesome!! We'll meet you guys at the usual spot at Times Square? 11am??

Leo🔥:
Sounds good to me!!

"Here."
Leo looked up and saw Jason enter the room with two plates of scrambled eggs. Jason was holding out one of the plates towards Leo.
"Thanks." Leo smiled up at Jason, taking the plate from him as he placed his phone aside.

"Uh, so Piper messaged me."
Jason sat down next to Leo and he looked at Leo. Leo played with the food on the plate with his fork.
"I agreed for us to hang out with her and Shel. We're gonna meet at Times Square at 11."
"Mmh, okay." Jason nodded, smiling at Leo.
"I nearly forgot that Pipes wanted to hang out..."
"You're hopeless." Leo smiled.
Jason rolled his eyes.

"Soo...you're not upset I told Piper?" Jason asked, now playing with his own plate of food.
Leo took a bite of his scrambled eggs and he shook his head.
"No, she was going to find out soon anyway." Leo said, shrugging.
"Plus I'm kind of glad I don't have to tell her everything, I just... I don't want to really talk about it, y'know?"
Jason nodded.

"Start eating, we still gotta get ready and make our way to meet up with Shel and Pipes!" Leo exclaimed, nudging Jason in the arm with his elbow.
"Alright, alright." Jason smiled, taking a forkful of scrambled eggs and eating it.

Jason was looking forward to hang out as a group again, especially since it had been a while since Piper, Jason and Leo had hung out together. Shel will be there too, but she was nice to hang around too, so Jason looked forward to hanging out with her too.

And Jason hoped it would bring Leo's spirits up.
