Yeah, Leo definitely was regretting agreeing to this so much right now.

Leo was outside of Calypso's apartment. He told Jason that he would just be going out to meet someone from one of his classes to talk about the work, that Leo needed to catch up on some stuff. Jason didn't question Leo, but Leo was pretty sure Jason thought there was something wrong.

Leo bit his lower lip as he knocked on the front door and he stuffed his hands into his pockets once he did so.
A few moments passed and the door opened. Leo looked to see Calypso was dressed up nicely and had make-up on to make her look prettier.

"Hey." Calypso smiled at Leo.
"Uhm, hi." Leo said, instantly feeling dread in his stomach.
Calypso stepped aside and Leo entered the apartment.
"Make yourself at home-" Calypso began as she shut the front door.
"This was my home, so no thanks." Leo mumbled.
Calypso stayed silent for a moment.

"... Come on. Let's talk in the living room." Calypso said, turning around and walking off.
Leo hesitantly followed behind, keeping his hands in his pockets.
Calypso sat down on the couch when they reached the living room and Leo sat down next to her. He made sure he didn't sit too close.

"Go on. Say whatever you wanted to say." Leo said, looking at Calypso.
Calypso twirled a strand of her hair around her finger and she kept her gaze on the floor before she looked at Leo.
"The way I broke up with you was sudden and rude. I shouldn't have kicked you out, especially after you had a long shift at your apprenticeship." Calypso began.
"And... the things I said. They were rude."

Leo stared at Calypso.
"They were rude." Leo repeated.
"But they were true?"
"You're twisting my words." Calypso raised her eyebrows.
"So, are you telling me that I was good enough? I'm worth it?" Leo questioned.
Calypso stayed silent, thinking about her next words.

Leo blinked, absolutely astounded by this. How could Calypso not admit those things and yet when Leo went to Jason for comfort, Jason had said that he was worth everything?

"Calypso, if you can't even say those simple words, how can you expect me to want to try again with you?" Leo scoffed out, rubbing his temples with his fingers.
"Because you love me? I mean, Leo, you couldn't have gotten over me that quickly-!" Calypso began.
"When did I say that I loved you?!" Leo snapped, shooting a glare at Calypso.

"Dios mío... Soy un idiota." Leo mumbled under his breath.
Calypso gulped and she sighed out.
"Leo, I didn't value our relationship and I realise this now. You were the sweetest guy ever and I just... never saw that." Calypso said.
"But these weeks without you? I mean... Leo, I miss you and I-"
Calypso began to try and convince Leo to take her back, but Leo's phone buzzed.

Leo took his phone out of his pocket and glanced at the notification.
'Hey, when are you coming back home? I have a surprise for you! xx'
Leo furrowed his eyebrows at the message from Jason. Leo looked at Calypso and she seemed to trail off as she noticed Leo had his phone out.

"... That's sort of rude." Calypso stated.
"I'm sorry, who usually had her phone out during our dinner dates?" Leo raised his eyebrows.
"Jason just wants to know when I'll be back."
Calypso raised her eyebrows.
"Jason? You honestly care more about Jason right now than me-?" Calypso began.

Leo sighed and he ran his fingers through his hair. Leo glanced back at the message and his eyes glued to the word 'home' in that message. Leo blinked and he swore his heart skipped a beat and butterflies fluttered in his stomach.

Home.

Leo couldn't recall feeling this positive to a place that he called home. He used to feel this way when he and Calypso lived together, but that quickly faded. But Jason asking Leo when he'd be home just felt...right.

Leo bit his lower lip and he looked to Calypso.
"I am not going to get back together with you." Leo stated.
"You want to know why?"
Calypso scoffed out and stared at Leo.
"... Why?" Calypso questioned.
Leo smiled at Calypso.

"I treated you with the utmost respect, I showered you with love, I listened to you vent and I did everything I could to make you happy. You in return did nothing. You made me feel like a shitty boyfriend because you never showered me with love. I did everything that I could to make it work. I probably would have never broken up with you if you hadn't because I was so delusional and thought maybe one day you'd realise that I was the best boyfriend ever." Leo stated.

"You were a bitch, Calypso. You were the most horrible girlfriend ever, and you weren't even nice to my friends, they disliked you from the start and I should've listened to them."

Calypso blinked at Leo, processing everything he said and she scoffed.
"Did you seriously just call me a bitch-?!" Calypso began, getting up.
Leo got up from the couch and he nodded at Calypso.
"I did. Maybe you should move on because I have someone waiting on me at home." Leo said.
"With, what I assume is, a gift, which, may I just say, you never surprised me with something nice!"

Leo backed away, raising his hands in the air.
"You never made me happy. You never liked me for me. So, adiós para siempre, Calypso!"
Leo then turned away and made his way to the front door.
"You're not even going to listen to what I have to say-?!" Calypso attempted to get Leo's attention.

Leo simply opened up the front door, exited the apartment and slammed the door shut. Leo got his phone and he went onto Jason's contact, replying to the message he sent a few moments ago.

Jase💕:
Hey, when are you coming back home? I have a surprise for you! xx

Leo🔥:
Just heading back now. I'll be home in 20-30 minutes tops, Jase xxx

Jase💕:
Can't wait, make sure you're being careful xx

Leo smiled and he turned off his phone, stuffing it into his pocket as he made his way down the stairs of the apartment building.

He was going home.
