Chapter 13

"It's been too long!" Piper exclaimed as she, Shel, Jason and Leo were walking about the city.
Piper was holding hands with Shel and Jason and Leo were walking close behind the two girls.

"Well, we've all had busy lives until now." Leo said.
"Except from Jason." Piper said, looking back at Leo.
"Cause he doesn't have a partner~"
Jason huffed as he looked at Piper.
"Gee, thanks for being aware of my painfully boring life, Pipes." Jason said.

"Well, at least we can be single together now." Leo said, looking to Jason and interlocking their arms.
Jason looked at Leo, trying to see if he was sad about his statement, but Jason didn't see any emotions of sadness or bitterness. Either Leo bottled his emotions well, or he was genuinely happy to be around his loved ones.

"Or you could get together." Piper coughed under her breath.
Shel nudged Piper in the arm and Piper frowned.
"Hey!"
Jason cleared his throat, his cheeks turning red. Leo felt himself smile slightly as his own cheeks warmed up.

"Well, I mean~?" Leo grinned up at Jason.
"Hey, no, you need to heal from your break up with Calypso, Leo." Jason said, shaking his head.
Leo frowned.
"Eugh, I don't like healing. Healing sucks and takes forever." Leo grumbled, resting his head on Jason's shoulder.

"So, Jason, are you saying once Leo has gotten over his break up, you guys can then get together?" Shel questioned, glancing over her shoulder to look at Jason.
Piper let out a sigh of admiration and she placed a kiss on Shel's cheek, "Yep, I definitely love you."
Shel smiled at her girlfriend and she glanced back at Jason, raising her eyebrows.

Jason cleared his throat and Leo lifted his head from Jason's shoulder.
"What a good question!" Leo exclaimed.
Jason was speechless.
"W-well. Uhm..." Jason gulped, avoiding eye contact with everyone and adjusting his glasses.
"If Leo was genuinely interested then... I don't see why not?"
Jason glanced at Leo but quickly looked away.

Leo blinked and his entire face turned red.
"And how do you feel about that answer, Leo?" Piper asked.
"... I don't... I don't know." Leo seemed to mumble.
Jason bit his inner cheek.
"Leo, you just need to focus on moving on from Calypso." Jason said, looking at Leo.
"And today is all about making you feel better, to make sure you don't mope around all day! So, girls, what do we have planned?"

Jason looked at Piper and Shel. Piper and Shel both looked at each other and smiled before they looked at Jason.
"Bowling!!" They both exclaimed.
Jason grimaced and Leo seemed to smile.

"Please, no..."
"Oh, c'mon Jase! You're super bad at it, but I'll help you out!"
"... Thanks, Leo. I really feel better about going bowling now."

"You and Shel really already had to mention something about Leo and I becoming a thing? A day after his break up, actually, not even a whole day!" Jason exclaimed as he and Piper were in line to get some sort of snack and drinks.

Leo and Shel were just setting up the nicknames at their bowling aisle and would wait for Jason and Piper to come back with the snacks and drinks.

"Honey, we both know you're too afraid to make a move on him anyway." Piper said.
"Well, I wasn't going to make a move soon because Leo needs to move on and heal first." Jason stated.
"And what if he heals before you even realise and he finds himself a new girlfriend or boyfriend?" Piper raised her eyebrows.

Jason stayed silent.
"... Look. Leo is now aware that you'd be willing to be with him once he's in that headspace to be with someone again. You just need to be patient."
Jason really hated those last six words Piper said.
