**Kamron's POV**

'We lost the scent along the boarder.' Eric said as he came running at my flank.

'How could you lose it?' I demanded.

'They ran through the river,' Frankie said quickly, 'Their scents were gone by then.'

'Dammit!' I yelled, 'In what direction where they heading?'

'North-East,' Eric said.

'We'll have to go back, we can track them some other time. I'll warn the Summers Pack, you guys link up with Jason. I felt him phase a while ago, he hasn't phased back yet." I said, just as Jason linked.

'Here,' He said.

'Jason, take Eric and Frankie to the pack house. I'll come explain everything as soon as I get back.' I ordered.

'Yes, sir.' Jason said, playfully.

We were running along the boarder when I looked towards Eric and Frankie on either of my sides, nodding at each of them, signalling for them to find Jason.

They nodded back and faded into the woods on my right, where the boarder was on my left.

I can't believe there are Rogues in our territory, not now. I mean we have the biggest territory around. Bigger than pack's twice our's age.

Why here?

Why now?

I have to warn the Summer Pack. They aren't strong enough to take on the Rogues on their own.

I ran across the boarder, heading straight for their pack house.

My wolf purred at the feeling of dirt and grass under it's paws. It's been too long since I've let him run.

My legs went as fast as they could, and then even faster. Trees flew past in blurs and I was at the Summer Packs house in record time.

I howled before jumping over the wall, making sure to warn them before just entering.

Luckily our old pack has worked with this pack before, we helped them when they didn't have anywhere to stay. We won this territory for them - but that was before I was born.

Hopefully our packs were still on good terms.

Their Alpha was 58 years old, and still going strong. Although wolves age differently compared to humans, we still have to retire as Alpha when our eldest child reaches 18. My dad is 92 and my mom is 78, but they didn't look a day over 35 at the most.

Alpha Wilson looked 30 at most, he had black hair and was built very broadly. Muscular. Like every Alpha should look. He hadn't met his mate yet, so he didn't have an heir to his 'throne'.

"What's your purpose here." He said, standing on the back porch. His black shoes wrapping onto the wooden deck, booming as he walked.

Two men walked out behind him; one blonde and much smaller than Alpha Wilson, the other had light brown hair and looked similar the blonde one.

'I'm Alpha Hunt.' I said, linking with him. Luckily Alpha's are able to link with each other to delegate to their packs, but unfortunately, the links are only close range.

The two men standing next to Alpha Wilson looked a little worried, but to prove my peace - I took a step back and bowed my head respectfully to their Alpha, and when Alpha Wilson did the same they relaxed.
