"Hey, did you know about this?" Sakura asked as she walked past Sasuke into his apartment. Sakura was so tired, words couldn't even describe it. And of course, the important person she had to meet turned out to be none other than Sasuke's father.

From what Sakura could gather, his father didn't seem like a good guy. It didn't take a genius to figure out that someone like her wasn't right for Sasuke, and his father definitely wouldn't approve.

Sakura was caught off guard, to say the least. The last time they talked about Sasuke's father, they decided to keep their relationship a secret, especially from him. She didn't want to do anything that would get Sasuke into trouble.

Sasuke looked at her in confusion. He didn't expect her to be so unenthusiastic after her long shift.

Sasuke watched as Sakura put her things on his kitchen counter and gave him another puzzled look.

"Know about what?" Sasuke asked, genuinely clueless.

Sakura raised an eyebrow. "Your father?"

"What about my father?"

"Oh, come on Sasuke, I don't have time for games. You didn't tell me that I was supposed to meet your father during my shift!" Sakura exclaimed. She wasn't angry, but if she had known she was meeting his father, she would have prepared herself better.

Sasuke's eyes widened in surprise. He was speechless.

Sasuke pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. "I swear I didn't know about this. What happened? Why was he there?"

The only explanation Sasuke could think of was that Itachi must have told their father about Sakura. Naruto wouldn't blab, and Itachi had said some things the last time they saw each other.

Sakura sighed and sat down on the couch. "I honestly don't know. All I remember is Lady Tsunade mentioning that someone would be meeting us. I wasn't expecting to meet 'that guy' so late at night. It wasn't until we were in her office and he introduced himself. It didn't take me long to figure out who he was. He looks a lot like you."

Sasuke felt panicked. This wasn't how he expected things to go, and he wanted to tell his parents about Sakura himself. The fact that his dad had been quiet about it meant he was definitely planning something. Instead of looking forward to Sakura coming back from her shift, he was hit with unexpected news. And he was mad at Itachi. If Itachi hadn't said anything, his father wouldn't have found out about Sakura.

Sasuke ran his hands through his hair. "Damn it, did he threaten you or anything? What else did he say? Shit, shit, shit."

Sakura stood up and approached Sasuke. "Sasuke, calm down. I don't think it was anything bad. He just mentioned that he knew about me because of you. I'm guessing he knows you recommended me for the internship with Lady Tsunade."

"But how did he find out about you? Why did he want to meet you specifically? Sakura, I know my father. He's definitely planning something and I won't let you get involved. This is my fault," Sasuke sank into the couch and let out a frustrated sigh. "I won't let him sabotage your future. I know he's doing all of this to keep us apart."

"I'm not mad or scared... I was just caught off guard. He didn't seem too happy about me, more like... pretending to be. He mentioned that he knew you recommended me to intern under Lady Tsunade, so I'm guessing she told him," Sakura said as she sat next to Sasuke and ran her hand down his back. "I just don't know what to do now. Should I continue interning under her? Should we avoid any conflict with your father?"

Sasuke shook his head. "No... I don't think Tsunade would have told him. She doesn't know much about me, so it couldn't have been her. It has to be my brother or my dad following me again."
