"You hooked up with him?" Ino blurted out. It's been a few days since Sakura last saw Sasuke, after what happened between them that night. She wasn't sure what they were... I mean, they confessed their feelings for each other, but did they even have a proper conversation about where this was going?
At first, Sakura was hesitant to get into a relationship with the raven-haired man she was giving surfing lessons to. She wanted to focus on her studies, making money, and building her future. But things changed unexpectedly... she knew her world was turned upside down the moment she first met Sasuke at work.
Sakura sat up in bed, trying to hide the embarrassment on her face. She wasn't as open as Ino when it came to talking about her intimate life, but Ino had no filter compared to Sakura and Temari.
Ino smirked, looking at Sakura's reaction. "Was he good? Was he amazing in bed? Was he bi..." Before she could finish her sentence, Sakura threw a squishmallow at her.
"Shut up, Ino!" Sakura hid her blush and embarrassment behind her hands.
Temari shook her head, looking at the two across from Sakura's room, "Come on, Ino, don't tease her..." Temari said, trying to be more calm and formal. She wanted to know too. "So... how was it?"
Sakura looked at Ino and Temari, sitting back on her bed. "Oh my god, guys... it was perfect. I can't even explain it, but it was just perfect." Sakura bit her lip and let out a nervous laugh.
"She's definitely in love, don't you think, Temari?" Ino teased.
Temari smiled. It was rare to see Sakura in such a radiant state, and she agreed with Ino. "I think so too. You really like him, huh? So, are you guys officially together?"
Sakura blushed, her gaze shifting to the floor. "I'm not sure, to be honest," she admitted. "We haven't really talked about it. I mean, we confessed our feelings, but we haven't discussed where this is heading or if we're an official couple." She sighed, feeling a mix of excitement and uncertainty.
Ino raised an eyebrow, a mischievous look in her eyes. "Well, you should definitely have that conversation soon. You don't want to be left hanging, Sakura."
Temari nodded in agreement. "Communication is key in any relationship. It's important for both of you to be on the same page and understand each other's expectations."
Sakura nodded, "Yeah... You're right. I'll talk to him about it the next time we meet."
Speak of the devil.
Sakura's phone buzzed, startling her. She picked it up and saw a text from Sasuke. Her heart skipped a beat as she read the message.
iMessage
(Sasuke: Hey, can we meet up tonight? I'm at my parents right now but there's something important I want to talk to you about.)
Parents?
All she knew was that his parents were controlling jerks who wouldn't approve of him dating someone like her. He had expressed his concern about that from the start. Sakura felt a mix of excitement and nervousness.
Of course, right now, she couldn't help but overthink. She hadn't heard from him, but the way he texted made her wonder if it was something good or bad.
She glanced at Ino and Temari, a nervous smile playing on her lips. "Well, it seems like I won't have to wait long. Sasuke wants to meet tonight. I guess it's time to have that conversation."
...
Sasuke cleared his throat after sending the message. It had been two whole days since he last saw Sakura, and he had spent those days at his parents' place. The things that had happened between him and Sakura were beyond amazing, and he couldn't find the right words to describe it.
