"Sakura, wake up. Sakura."

Sasuke sighed as he looked at Sakura, then at the clock next to his bedside. It was almost 11 in the morning, and he sighed in defeat as he tried to wake up his girlfriend for the tenth time that morning.

To be fair, it was mostly his fault that Sakura didn't wake up at all. They both didn't realize how long makeup sex could last.

He would have been okay with sleeping in the whole day, but he woke up to another text from Itachi. Apparently, meeting his parents and having dinner with them was happening sooner than he thought. They didn't give him a choice to pick a time and date, and he had no other option but to agree. The problem was getting Sakura on board. He hadn't had the chance to bring up last night, and he was hesitant now. After they had a great night, he didn't want to cause her any more anxiety than he already had.

But he knew it had to be done.

Sasuke once again shook his girlfriend slightly. "Sakura, wake up please."

Sakura's eyes fluttered as she looked at him in confusion, then at the clock. "Shit... I really passed out this time, didn't I?"

Sasuke shrugged his shoulders and wrapped his arm around her waist. "Yeah, I guess you could say that. Maybe we overdid it last night?"

Shaking her head, Sakura gave a light chuckle. "Nope, not at all. I think it was worth it."

"Suck it up and just ask her. It's better to get it over with," Sasuke shook his head as he battled with his inner voices.

Sakura raised an eyebrow and slightly pulled back. "What's wrong?"

Shit. She noticed. Now I have to tell her.

"I wasn't sure when it was going to happen, but I guess I don't really have a choice now," Sasuke mumbled. "My parents want to meet you. Officially."

Sakura blinked a couple of times, processing what Sasuke just said. Did she hear him correctly? His father... his mother... wanted to meet her? She knew the day would come eventually, but she wasn't expecting it to be so sudden. If anything, she wasn't sure if his father wanted anything to do with her. Especially after their last encounter in the hospital, their interaction was not genuine.

"When?" Sakura breathed out. Don't get her wrong, a part of her was curious to know more about Sasuke's parents, but was she ready to face his father again? And now she would be officially meeting them as his girlfriend.

Sasuke scratched the back of his head, avoiding eye contact. "Tonight, actually. Dinner... at their place."

Sakura gasped. "Tonight? Sasuke... that's not enough time. What should I even wear?"

"You don't have to wear anything too fancy. Just dress how you usually do."

Sakura sat up on the bed, running her hand through her pink locks. "Yeah, right. And have your father judge me? I'm pretty sure I gave him a bad impression already at the hospital. To make matters worse, I'm meeting your mother too."

Sasuke sighed and reached out to hold Sakura, trying to reassure her. "Hey, let's not worry about that, okay? My father can be difficult, but I'm hoping he'll come around once he sees what an amazing person you are. And as for my mother, she won't judge you based on one interaction."

Sakura looked uncertain. "But what if I give them more reasons not to approve of me? What if they think I'm not good enough for you?"

Sasuke leaned closer to Sakura and gently brushed his thumb against her cheek. "Sakura, I don't care what they think anymore. You're more than enough for me. Please do this for me?"
