It has been a few weeks since the incident, and so much has occurred. Sakura couldn't wrap her head around the fact that she and Sasuke had gone through so much. She was surprised that even her mental health remained intact.

One of the positive things that occurred during these weeks was that Sasuke was no longer in a battered state. The bruises had healed on their own, and the concern for future seizures was no longer present. Additionally, Sakura was now free from her boot and could walk like a normal human being. She still felt some pain in her foot, but it was nothing she couldn't handle.

On a side note, a couple of days ago, they attended the court hearing. Honestly, they expected it to be an ongoing process, but to their surprise, Hidan pleaded guilty to the charges. Sakura supposed harming an Uchiha is the worst thing anyone could do, especially with the legal team that Sasuke and his family had hired. There was no way for Hidan to escape the consequences of his actions.

Serves him right.

Sakura sighed as she gazed at her screen, unaware that she had been lost in thought until Sasuke interrupted her from behind.

"What are you thinking about?" Sasuke asked, sitting beside her. His onyx eyes locked with hers, bringing Sakura back to reality.

Startled, Sakura jumped up and shook her head. "Nothing... I just can't believe how quickly the money transferred to my account. 100,000... that's a lot of money, Sasuke. I don't even know where to begin... Should I pay off my debt first? Should I save money for my parents?"

Sasuke chuckled and kissed her forehead. "Well, that's where I come in to help. Don't forget, your boyfriend is a businessman."

He's right, Sakura thought.

"Good idea. I'm sorry, I just didn't want to add to your workload, especially since you're returning to the office," Sakura sighed. "Speaking of your job, how is everything? And how is your family?"

Sasuke shrugged. "Work is work, and... I guess my family is alright? I don't know. I'm still getting used to my father trying to change. I appreciate the effort, and it's something I've always wished for, but I never expected him to be so... affectionate?"

Sakura rested her head on his shoulder. "I suppose it takes time to adjust... I mean, he was a complete asshole your whole life... but how are Itachi and Izumi?"

"They're okay too I guess. It was definitely a surprise when they found out, but they're excited too. But, who isn't thrilled about a new addition to the family? I know my mother is," Sasuke chuckled, wrapping his arm around her. "Do you want to be next?"

Sakura scooted slightly away, raising an eyebrow. "Um... What do you mean by that?"

Sasuke chuckled and pulled Sakura closer, his eyes filled with mischief. "Do you want to be the next?" Sasuke smirked grew wider, "Putting a baby in you I mean."

Is he for real?

Sakura blushed and playfully swatted his arm. "Sasuke, don't even joke about that!"

Sasuke grinned, his expression softening. "I know, I know. I just missed you that's all. I hate to sound like the desperate one, but I haven't touched you in so long... I figured since we're both pretty much back to ourselves we can..."

"You sound like a teenage boy begging for his girlfriend to do it for the first time," Sakura chuckled, "But do we even have time? We're supposed to visit my parents in an hour..."
