Chapter 57

Ira POV

Arjun drove us back to the home and I felt strange excitement bubbling inside of me. I would be back to my home where Arjun is. I left the footwear outside when Arjun unlocked the door and went inside. After I got in, I bolted the door when I was pulled into his safe embrace.

Arjun: Even this house did not like it when you left. You make this house a home.

I held his face in my palm, feeling the five o clock shadow. I tip toed and kissed him on the forehead

Me: This feels like my home and it scares the shit out of me to stay away from it

Arjun: Then never leave like you did, this home needs you after it saw the robotic me

Me: I will never unless you want me to

Arjun: You are one crazy girl, okay, listen its a order. EVEN IF I ASK YOU TO GO OUT YOU STAY PUT, FLAUNT YOUR POWER AND RIGHTS OVER ME AND THE HOUSE. I will always want you around.

I hugged him overwhelmed with emotions

Me: I love you Arjun and I will make it up to you for reacting on the uncomfortable situation

Arjun: You really wanna make it up?

I nodded 

Arjun: Then sleep with me today

For a second I got shocked before I heard a giggle

Arjun: Relax, look at your face. I meant stay with me for tonight in my room. We can talk, watch a movie, talk 

Me: Okay I will be there ...

A few months later

It has been a few months since that misunderstanding cleared out and it is amazing. We started going to therapy. He started figuring out what triggered me while I was careful not to annoy him with the frequency of my crazy ness. At the end of the day we both had each individual traits in regards to the control freakiness.

It was a cocktail at the end of the day

One day we were both sitting on the balcony floor enjoying the wind on our faces cuddled in the small space with blankets over us. My back rested over his front while his hand snaked around my waist protectively. Though we were looking at the stars and the spread of city lights in front of us we were also very cozy

He tenderly moved the strands of hair away from my face and kissed my cheek while I played with his long fingers of his other hand on my waist taking in the warmth which spread through me with the kiss. Now a days he started being a bit bold with his affections not too bold to crossthe boundaries but enough bold to bend them. He nuzzled his nose in my neck and smelled me in

Arjun: Did you know you smell like a white chocolate, its rather addicting when I wanna be on a diet 

I chuckled at his description when he put his hand under my chin and turned me to himself. He put his lips on mine taking me into a passionate kiss and left me only when we both were breathless. I smiled softly at him while he draped both of his arms, one on my upper chest and one on my waist pulling me to himself, kissing me on the neck. I was enjoying the affection when he bit me on my neck

Me: Ouch 

Arjun: Sorry, I 

I glared at him and held his ear in my hand, before he realized I bit his nose like how kids do and he screeched

Me: Serves you right ...

Before I knew it I was pulled on to his lap, with his hand under my knee in one swift moment and he kissed me, biting the side of my lip. I started punching him for his over the top playfulness when he held my hands in his and pulled me to himself. I tried to get off him and he kept looking at me intensely 

Me: leave me 

Arjun: No

Me: Arjun ...

I looked into his eyes with a puppy dog expression and he left my hands while I massaged them after that pressure. He pulled my hands again but this time with a lot of softness one at a time. He kissed me on my arms where he held on a bit tight and I was swept off by the tenderness in his hold and the softness in his gaze after which he left my hands. I blushed at his intense gaze, the spark from his touch and our chemistry. He put his fingers under my chin and made me look at him both of us sitting in Indian style, our knees touching.

Arjun: Iru

Me: Arjun

Arjun: Can you do me a small favor ?

Me: Depends on what you ask 

He smiled and bent down his breath on my ear

Arjun: Iru ?

Me: Hmm

Arjun: Iru, would you be a sweetheart and get married to me ?

As soon as he said that I took a suprised breathe in while he kissed my cheek

Arjun: No pressure, think about it and let me know your answer okay. If you agree to this ...

He went to his wardrobe and took a cover out

Arjun: If you agree have a look at this and give it back to me with your answer

He kissed me on my cheek again and went downstairs giving me space. I took off the contents of the cover when a bunch of stationery items came in front of me and what suprised me was an application of register marraige. He even bought glue, stapler, good pens etc so that I could fill it when I am ready

My eyes filled with tears at his unique way of proposal. What should I say to this ?
