Chapter 2: meeting her

I DON'T KNOW, NARRATOR POV?

Boyfriend looked through the crowd. he blushed seeing the girl there. then he fought the urge by looking away. no, he thought, she'd never accept me. i'm a bad boy. i always have been.

the girl then noticed him and approached him. 

''you alright?'' she asked in a sweet voice.

Boyfriend turned, flustering.

''my name is Girlfriend. what is yours?'' she asked.

''i'm Boyfriend.'' he spoke, using a more 'tough' tone, but he wasn't masking very well.

''nice to meet you.... i guess... i heard you have a.... reputation around here.'' Girlfriend politely spoke.

''yeah..... i know. i'm a bad boy. always have been, always will be'' Boyfriend shuffled his pockets, then pulled a cigar as he tried to sound cool. ''if you'll excuse me, i have time to kill.''

he moved past her, trying hard not to sound genuinely rude, but more so genuine. 

''why am i blushing?'' Girlfriend asked. her older sister, Cassandra, then appeared behind her.

''ignore him. he's just as bad as your boyfriend is.'' Cassasndra spoke. ''what do you even see in that man, anyway?''

''.....i don't know...'' Girlfriend spoke.

''exactly. if you won't break up with him, i'll make you do it. just trying to look out for you.'' Cassandra spoke firmly. 

as for Boyfriend, he hid his face. he didn't get it. how is he a bad boy, yet he is nice to the younger kids in his own special way and dosn't do actually bad stuff? what is the thing anyway?

Pico then appeared near him, with 3 important words for a question:

''you like her?'' 

Boyfriend, embarrassed, then spluttered ''no! she's a goody two sho-'' but Pico cut him off with his fingers.

''look, old friend, i'm not saying you have to hide these from me. i'm saying things will be kinda crappy if you get with her. they'll try to scold her for dating you. we can't have that on either ends of the spectrum.'' Pico put his hand on Boyfriend's shoulder as he said that.

''i can't shake it.... she's so good.... and i'm so bad.... damn it.... i need to vent out by breaking something....'' Boyfriend held onto his head. 

''here.'' Pico spoke as he showed him a chocolate bar. ''managed to get this off from one of the eight graders in case you needed to say that.''

''thanks buddy. your the best'' Boyfriend said. he then threw the chocolate bar [which was half eaten], then stomped on it a few times. 

''leave that to the janitor to clean up'' Boyfriend said as he tried taking the chocolate of his shoe.

meanwhile, the sisters were walking over to class. Cassandra was darting her eyes, while Girlfriend was humming.

''why do you like humming so much?'' Cassandra asked, clearly annoyed by it.

''it's calming. helps me keep my mind off things'' Sarah said. 

''it better be. you need to forget about that blue haired prick.'' Cassandra said.

''you right......'' Girlfriend spoke calmly. ''besides, what's with you and your distain for Tabi?''

''i don't like him. he's harassed me by telling me i'm just a grouchy pants and that i'm no fun because i told him not to say the N word when he's a white person. i don't understand the culture rules myself, but saying that word is wrong.'' Cassandra lectured.

''regardless.... he'd never break up with me........ ............ .......

right?'' Girlfriend spoke.

skip to the next day.

Girlfriend's POV:

i was in my room, crying. i had just suffered such heartbreak i couldn't bear myself.

i heard Dad come in my room, worried.

''is anything alright? you've been in tears since you came in the house.'' he said.

''Tabi.......... he......'' was all i could muster.

''that annoying prick dumped you? i told you not to date someone just because they looked cool'' Dad said.

''yes......'' i cried.

''it's okay. what matters is we're here for you, sweetie.'' Dad said.  he hugged me gently. 

i loved my ex-rockstar dad. yeah, he's rough around the edges, but he's good to me, so it's fine.

the real question is....

who'd love a demon..... like me?

[Writer's note: this was something to write. wasn't really much to work with, but hey, i plan to branch this out. we'll meet Boyfriend and Pico's old gang very soon. just you wait.
