I woke up this morning and threw up three times then dragged myself to the shower and now I am force feeding myself bacon and drinking orange juice. Never let me drink again. Me ,Glen and Tommy are sitting next to each other as we all try shovel food down our throats without throwing up.

T-dog comes over "eggs powdered but I make em good" me and Glen groan in unison at the image of more food as Tommy let's his head fall to the table. "Protein helps with the hangover" Jacqui rubs my shoulders as she encourages me to eat more food.

I already had a talking too from mom and dad they weren't happy that I drank that much but I think they are going to let it slide as they said the hangover is punishment enough and I agree. My head feels like it's been hit by five bowling balls ughhh I want to disappear.

Shane walks into the room he doesn't look too good either , I guess everyone went a bit crazy last night. As he comes back over to the table I notice big scratch marks on his neck "Uncle Shane , what happened to your neck?" I say concerned. He tenses at the question "I must of done it in my sleep or something" he mumbled out as I see my mom momentarily stop eating her bacon as she stares at the table. " Never seen you do that before" my dad says as Shane replies "me neither". Me and Glen give each other a look of confusion before I feel another wave of dizziness.

After breakfast Jenner brings us into the main room as we all want answers about this virus. "Give me a playback of TS-19" Jenner says to the creepy version of Jarvis called vi , I think. Then this huge screen lights up " is that a brain ?" Carl asks , " A very extraordinary one, no that it matters in the end" he replies.

The screen then zooms in as we get close look at the inside of this persons brain , it's beautiful. The bright blue lights flow through each other and they are all connected by smaller deep blue lines, it's like a puzzle. "What are those blue lights ?" I ask curiously, "it's a persons life , experiences, memories. It's  everything. Somewhere in all that organic wiring, all those ripples of light,is you. The thing that makes you unique and human" there's a pause of silence as everyone takes in what he said before Daryl is heard "Do you ever make sense?" I laugh at his outburst before the conversation turns serious again.

"Those are synapses, electric impulses in the brain that carry all the messages. They determine everything a person says, does or thinks from the moment of birth to the moment of death." My dad walks forward "Death ? That's what this is a vigil?" Jenner responds "Well more like a playback of the vigil".

"This person died ? Who?" Andrea asks solemnly. "Test subject 19, someone who was bitten and infected and volunteered too have us record the process" that person is brave I thought , they didn't just end it but suffered through the infection to help.

"Vi , scan forward to first event" the screen changes as some of the brain turns dark and dead like it's been poisoned. Then spreads till all the blue lights are gone and it is just blackness. "The brain goes into shutdown ,then the major organs. Then death" Jenner explains. "Everything you ever were or ever will be ... gone." I feel a tear slip from my eye as I realise this is what happened to Amy and no one could stop it. I feel arms around me as Tommy gives me a comforting look. I guess we are back in good terms ?
