I lace up my boots firmly , checking the bag Carl put together for me , it's got a list of stuff for Judith , flashlight , my revolver and my kurki. I slip my gun in my holster and head outside to join the others.
I reach Greene and Glenn by the car as they pack some stuff up , " You sure about this Ells , I mean after-" I cut him off " I wanna go Glenn , I need this" I say getting in the backseat not in the mood to argue. I hear him sigh as he gets in the drivers seat , Aaron in the passenger.
Glenn turns around to face me " You got your gun , and your weird cool knife thingy" I nearly crack a smile at his ridiculous description of my Kurki. " Yes dad , can we go now or do you want me to get a pack lunch" I tease and he shakes his head starting the car. I watch Greene smirk through the mirror as we lock eyes but I instantly look away.
Even with everything thats happened he still has an effect on me , I hate it. I should be mourning , guilt ridden ... I mean I am but I shouldn't be feeling so ... ugh god I don't even know.
I try block out my thoughts as I rest my head against the window letting the vibrations of the car lull me into a much needed sleep.

I am jolted awake by the car door slamming , " Wake up Grimes , we're hereee " Greene drags out as he opens the door for me " Wow such the gentlemen" I tease " Only for you" he responds instantly winking at me . I feel heat rise to my cheeks as I shake my head letting out a laugh shoving him playfully.
Our laughs stop as we hear Glenn " Outsides clear let's head in" he shouts as we join him by the entrance , he opens the door and suddenly a group of bats fly out right at us.
I quickly duck letting out a startled yell " Oh my god" I say breathlessly before straightening back up looking at the dark entrance. " Looks like you were right , nobody been in here in a while" Greene says to Glenn as we get out our flash lights , I go to enter first but Glenn stops me.
" Ells go in the middle" he says i scoff " Seriously?" I feel Greene drag me back " Stop being stubborn Grimes" he says keeping me between him and Glenn " Fine" I say hands up gesturing for Glenn to go.
He does , not before giving me a sheepish smile that i can't help but return. As soon as I enter my flashlight catches on a toy duck and I laugh " Glenn get the duck" I say excitedly he turns in confusion " What ?" And I giggle " For Judith she's gonna need some toys" I say like it's the obvious and I hear him and Greene chuckle before he picks it up placing it in his bag.

We exit the store we more than we actually came for which is filled me with relief " We have hit the powdered formula jackpot" Glenn says and I laugh " Judith's gonna be eating like a king" I joke as they both laugh.
